The road to a perfect legit +15 test

I take my superstitions and happy about it.
Used up my 3x silver anvils.
The road to a perfect legit 15 so close.

please rain down on me accusations that its impossible!!! and go bahbahbah chance, it only makes me feel more special for having it.
(never heard from again when it gets sent down to +10 3x in a row)

Wait till it becomes +15.

Also perfect +15 happens 0.48% of the time, a little under 1/200. No body said it was impossible, just unlikely.

Now, having TWO perfect +15’s is a different story.

Sorry what’s a silver anvil? I haven’t been keep up with the game mechanics.

the previous box delivery event by the end of it all gives you a total of 3x Silver Anvils, which is a regular anvil, but its free to use.
So I used all 3 on my +10 that I gotten to a little less than a month ago.
and all 3 worked, saving me close to 2million in silver.

Gonna have to wait till the game events gives me 2 more silver anvils to try

ah ok. Good luck then. I hope you’re one of the 1/200

Just remember that people who enhance for +15 in this game generally “makes it easier” by using a trash weapon.

How it works? well, it is true that the chance to get a perfect +15 is pretty low, and that you probably need 18+ weapon to get it.

BUT THEY DON’T HAVE TO BE THE SAME ENDGAME WEAPON.

That being said, you can have your main weapon & trash cheap to enhance weapons, as shown on the video linked on the early posts, this is how it works:

-The lowest success chance is 49% starting from +10 onward, I’m going to skip the +5->+9 deal for now.

-Let’s say the chance to succeed is 1/2, you are scared of failing to enhance your main weapon but you still want to do it, at least by “being more lucky somehow”.

-You enhance the trash weapons till they start failing often at the same rate or lower: ie, failing to +5->+6 is at 12% chance, if it happens you might want to enhance your main weapon after it and it will technically have higher success chance, although it stays the same in reality.

-If your trash weapons reach +9~10, its time for you to start trying the real deal, if you fail twice in a row it probably means its time to try your luck on your main weapon, but its still risky, especially if you succeed multiple times in a row on your trash weapons, but if you don’t, its less risky than a mere 1/2 chance.

The principle behind this is, gambling but less gambling, imagine multiple coin flips in succession, the chance to get the same thing 1000 time is stupidly low, but why is that? if you flip the coin for the first time the chance to get either head or tail will be 50% for each, assuming you got tail first, throwing the coin again will have less chance to get tail and more chance to get head, in a succession theorycrafting that is, in reality the chance is still 50% 50% because the coin still have 2 fair sides, that being said, your chance to get tail again will be 50% of the first 50%.

(1/2 chance for the first to be successful and 1/2 chance for the second one to be successful assuming the first is, which is 50% out of 50%=25%).

following such example, you can avoid enhancing your weapon until you get 3 fails in a row on +10 and above on other trash weapons and still have a correct chance to have a perfect +15.

(as you technically failed enough times to make it fair to have a perfect +15, except that you failed on trash weapons and succeeded on a good one).

Without losing much potential nor breaking the game, that being said its also high likely to fail once or twice during the process, but its still somewhat safer, also do note that the person who reached +25 shown in the video followed the same technique which is pretty common in MMOs right now (and especially on IMC’s other MMORPG).

Forgive me if someone else actually pointed this out earlier, I didn’t feel like reading the whole thread but I still noticed people saying a perfect +15 is too much luck while it can be done with a normal luck if you waste enough worthless other gear for it.

There is no sense in putting logic in this. If it really is easier to succeed after failing a trash weapon twice, it would have to be coded in.

Failing 3 times in a row has a lower chance than succeeding once, sure, but each individual attempt would still be 50%. So no matter what you do your chances of succeeding is 50%. Fail 100 times in a row, your next attempt to succeed is still 50%.

Roll a 6 sided die. The chances of getting a three 4 times in a row is 1/1296. However on each individual roll the chance is still 1/6. The previous rolls dont change it.

Tried the method, it seems it still depends a lil on luck. Chances are definitely higher tho Silver Anvils are giving me bad lucks. 5 Silver Anvils 4 failed on my dgc wadafuq. Not sure if they are lower than 51% for Silver Anvils (might b imc ninja nerfs) :sob:.
