The RMT Spam is so severe its lagging the game

How can we permanently disable chat until it is fixed. The lag when those rmt sites are spamming 10 full length shouts every second is insanity.

Admins asked us to send in screenshots, WHAT !? Streight up disable MVVM as a text string, get someone to just WATCH the damn shout ticker and delete that crap.

So i think the problem here is rmt spammers creating hundreds of dummy steam accounts and then doing chargebacks on the purchase after the account is banned. Its a never ending hell circle. They need to have better filtering on the ticker, like WAY better filtering.

IMC GMS plz take care of this bots

they should prevent people sending the same msg within 20sec

I doubt that would help. The bots would just alternate between two messages and still keep spamming.

yep also a good solution, but damn they have to do SOMETHING, the bots are creating more accounts per second then these guys are removing…

There’s three prices. $50 is the EA 1. The lowest is $10 for EA 3. I’m not sure what we’re going to do, they’ve suddenly just gotten a lot more aggressive the past couple of hours.

One account is 10$ and they are already banning those. It’s just too slow

It’s $10(or less) for access, but they just chargeback anyways so it doesn’t matter.

I think that limiting the number of characters allowed per message would help for now. It wasn’t really freezing the game before when the bots were spamming short messages… now that they’re huge blocks of texts gameplay becomes really choppy. I’m just sitting at one spot with 60 fps and chat closed… freezes/drops to 15 fps every few seconds because of one of those megaphones.

Or just disable megaphones. who needs them anyways?

Real solution is banning people who buy Silver. No buyers, no sellers.

You don’t have to. Dungeons have party finder and you can just talk to people you walk into

That definitely won’t help either. The problem is the offer.
If the problem was the demand, then people would just go to Goldseller’s websites instead of waiting for them to spam chat message.

Dungeons have party finder? You mean that thing that keeps popping up on the side of my screen that does absolutely nothing? Ask people I run into? Like I’ve been doing for the past 5 hours?

I have to say, most people don’t even answer when i try talking to them.
I’m beginning to wonder if they’re not bots too, just like the spammers…

When you enter a dungeon you will get a window that says " searching for group. entering upon completion" or something like that

honestly, imc can make A BUNCH of money just sitting there and banning bots.
THATS A FREE 10$ A BAN. that should be enough incentive to do something.

Again, RMT do not pay anything to create those accounts.

They buy a hundred of them, then do a chargeback, they get their money back and use the characters to spam until the chargeback reaches IMC and they bann said account.

If IMC was making 10$ for each rmt bot… trust me, they would be banning them in nanoseconds.
