The reroll secret

Nobody that does that should be surprised that the game plays the same.

I already know too I won’t reroll any of my chars… I don’t even understand why ppl think that is a good game design in any way.

…and before misunderstandings I actually love the grinding and everything… but doing everything again with the same char is just horrible…

Also I’m that person who wants more than 1 character… DIFFERENT ones… So I want to spend my time making different builds and chars and not redoing the same ■■■■ all over again.

@Awoooo That’s not rly a reroll for me… X)

Hi. I’ll share my experience in iTos for u (playing time: 1090 hrs)

I have a lv 229 shinobi (since swordsman classes are underpowered) i tried a different class to have some test how they roll and to have fun, of course.

My alts: lv166 monk, lv174 sorcerer, lv134 hoplite, lv125 barbarian, lv106 priest, lv106 elementalist, lv76 ranger, lv71 quarrel shooter, and a lv1 swordsman (cataphract build)

Question: “why make tons of toons”?
Answer: because i was unable to join cbt’s and obt is the only way for me to test things out.

Question: “have you tried deleting a high leveled toon that has a messed-up build”?
Answer: yeah. I’ve deleted my first char (for me it’s high already, lv114). Not to mention i have deleted 5 messed-up toons because i lack experience of their skills/stats/build-tree.

Question " why didnt use your shinobi to reach 280"?
Answer: coz i felt my shinobi lacks damage and i cry most of the time from magic based mobs in high leveled maps AND i want to explore the game more and try things out…like hunting stuffs, searching fir hidden quests, and trying other classes

Question: " dont you feel the game is kinda lame lately? Bugs, bots, etc?"
Answer: i’m already hooked. Thats why i reached 1090hrs playing time. But yea…im still hoping for improvement, balances and fixes. I’m not rushing imc to fix these problems ( but i want these bots to be vanished in the abyssmal pit coz they keep ks-ing my precious hunt ). I havent get bored yet while playing this game…why??

No ones saying not to build different characters. That could very well be your jam. I, personally enjoy the planning and theorycrafting that goes into making a build, leveling the character is an added bonus. I was merely suggesting that he, because he enjoyed his first char up to level 250, that he may simply change some of his ranks or skill point allocations.

the pantsu really made my day. im still waiting for customizable pantsu. GO pink teddy bear.

On the side notes, despite being somewhat tedious grinding and repetitive questing. What really kept me going is enjoy the game with different alts, have fun and enjoy experimenting different classes. I have a total 7 toons so far.

Featherfoot looks really interesting I’ve only seen one in game before but I hear that their numbers are a bit gimped compared to most classes. Which is sad but I’ve been considering trying to build a Featherfoot of my own at some point.

Honestly, knowing that it’s considered weak really makes me want to try making it strong.

I didn’t spend playing every day of my life just rushing to reach max lvl. I spend time doing quest, crafting items, rushing dungeons, complete collections, hardly ever grinding but specially I do it in a party with friends wich it’s the point of a mmorpg

The most MMOG are the same and technically you do always the same. So why do still playing those video games?

Well, everyone is different, for example I read the quests once on my first character then I just skipped through them all on every subsequent character. I, personally, don’t enjoy collecting every little thing for the collections and I don’t care if I’ve done every single quest that I’m eligible for. It’s ultimately up to him whether or not he will find it worth his time to start a new character new build or not.

In response to the game not being 110% forgiving if your build doesn’t pan out, all I have to say is, no risk, no reward. Nothing worth having is ever easy.

Let me get this straight: You do not like the game, you think it’s boring but want to have high-level characters because of reasons.

i guess you did not read much anyway:

I have 4 characters, split between Orsha and Silute.

Orsha: Cannoneer 22X , Rodelero 14X.

Silute: Hunter 12X, Priest 7X.

What is your secret god darn it ?

I have played MOBA for a really long time and all the stressful events I faced playing that genre was affecting my mental health. I was anxious, I couldn’t sleep properly, I had a bad temper, things easily got me angry.

ToS is a relaxing game and that’s what I need currently.

What the part of the game that you enjoy?

The sensation of progression, wanting to see the next grind spot, seeing myself getting closer to 280.
In an mmorpg what I like is getting stronger

But this is an mmorpg. If you don’t enjoy the elements of this kind of game, maybe you would like more playing mobas. Now i think the problem in this case is the user rush to reach max lvl in a short period of time when it’s known that every new mmorpg changes in its beginning to balance clases and there’s short information about clases and builds so there is very possible to mess it at your first char. I don’t remember any rpg I ve played that I didn’t restarted the same character unless three time before been ok with it.

I didn’t talk about that either. :x I will do different characters anyway.

This is what I’m about. My problem is the lack of information and the misleading descriptions.

Tbh I could only enjoy fully the game if all the ranks and classes would be out. Actually my current plan is to stop with my Chaplain (main char) on Rank5 or 6.

I know ppl don’t wanna hear about it…but for me if there would be a reset… it would mean I could fully enjoy the game already. Because I rly wouldn’t have to fear I only chose a class because there wasn’t any better choice currently so I shouldn’t stop somewhere…

For him it can be true. Also skill resets can rly make a char better. But for me that’s not enough.

I don’t care about the meta btw… I make my builds myself… or I would say I care about my own meta.
The other factor that ppl like to miss btw is the “fun” factor.

For example I’m rly interested in Shepherd… If it doesn’t fit in my build then everything is fine… I just make a new char for it. But what if it could fit? …and what if I can’t get it anymore because I started something else? This is a horrible struggle for me… XD

Ive played 4 characters to around lvl 140 before i decided on which i want to use as my main and try to max. Each character after the first is easier and quicker to lvl imo. You have better gear, higher team lvl, experience to know where to go/what to do.

For example, first character i did all quests on klaipeda. very boring for me.

Second character i did orsha quests and klaipeda main quest. I actually like these quests better, but meh.

Third i did main quest only and kill achievements. This is more fun. You get alot of drops, but it is a little slower.

Fourth i did only main klaipeda quests, dungeon quests and light grinding in certain areas. This is my favorite way to level.

I think the trick is to level your alts in a different way and not to make the same exact class you had before.

What i think would be cool is if xp cards were tradeable thru team storage… I have hundreds of xp cards on my alts that i may never use. Idk what would be the harm of moving xp cards from one character to your other.

I do think that they should do maybe a one-time character reset for everyone who was in this obt/release when they open the servers back up to the public. I don’t think they should have anything else for class resetting after that though. Mmmm actually I’m kindle conflicted, on the one hand I think people should be responsible enough to fully research each rank of their build and plan it all out completely. But at the same time I feel like the game isn’t fleshed out enough to be imposing that strict of a ruling. Maybe if they made a monthly event where people could earn a voucher, I could see that being a viable option.

Well, if you’ve played since launch, they’ve made some changes. At the beginning you didn’t get quest completion SP pots, where as now you get enough for most classes 'till around 180-200. Wizard classes and perhaps a few others will still have to be down for buying more though. HP pots you’re still entirely on your own, but for the classes I’ve played you don’t need them too often unless you boss early or solo a ton.

I had to reroll my first Fencer at 185, so I feel your pain there. Someone suggested that perhaps you haven’t found a class you truly enjoy, which may be the case. I enjoyed Fencer enough to stick with it a second round, but I could tell I had messed up my build by rank 6.

And unfortunately there is no helping this. That’s just the way the game is so if you don’t enjoy it, you never will. You were right to quit unless you want to be one of the rare few who experimentally level on just mob grinding, which isn’t feasible here.
