The reasoning behind why Full STR fencer is the best (theorycrafting)

Here is my reddit post that not only has plenty of reasoning in the original post, but in my opinion, the most juicy and informative calculations happen later down in the edits to my original post and the comments themselves. It has been a learning experience for me as well as others and I am happy with my results and ready to share them with the rest of the community. If anyone has any questions as to how I came to the conclusion that Full STR (in actuality, it would be 40 CON + rest into STR, which I have also tested) is better for fencer than any DEX build, feel free to post either on this thread or the reddit post!

Edit: I will be reorganizing everything into a more structured document or post because it started out as a work in progress (and still is) and as such I have just been tacking things on to the end and it is getting kind of lengthy and disorganized, so if you have a hard time understanding the reasoning I will try and rewrite it soon!

I already invested 20 points into dex. Can I still go Full Str fencer templar?

It shouldn’t make too much of a difference, maybe just don’t apply as many points to CON, like only 25-30 instead of 40. I also don’t know too much about templar, this build is assuming fencer C2.

Editted: Just realized its the same way for Pure DEX with STR Gears versus Pure STR with DEX gears

I see. I am only going fencer C1 since I am taking templar at rank 7, so I shouldn’t really pay attention to this then?

I am planning to go 2 dex 1str 1 con.

PS, I am making a corsair > Doppel. Would it scale better with str or dex?

The way you build should be fine as it is right now. DEX is totally worth to invest in the earliest stage of the game where as you can easily obtain higher STR/Damage based through gears and set.

Let take this as an example…

Pure STR > Pure DEX gears
Pure DEX > Pure STR gears

It’s reflecting to where as STR and DEX always benefits each other no matter how you build the Fencer, but yeah, truly Pure STR provide more “based” damage on-hit or “critical” when it land while DEX provide you major hardcore sustain power tools like “dodge” and “Accuracy” against your opponents.

Also, 100 DEX is more than enough for any classes that planning to get enough critical rate on their journey against high level bosses, monsters, and special raid Earth Tower.

STR, just get enough DEX for critical rate (Along with gears).

True, but only if we live in a perfect world where “Raw damage” is not interferes by dodge and accuracy…

Well the game is still in developing even though after the release. We’ll just have to see what’s IMC planning for the future updates and contents.
