The problem with MMO's nowadays

Companies are more focused on making money instead of making the gaming experience enjoyable for everyone, this is a multiplayer game afterall. I just started playing this game about a week ago and now lvl136 on my very first toon. I noticed so many features that are nothing but annoyance: Trading restrictions, Market restrictions, server lag, bots everywhere(Seriously, do we really need to accept now that bots cannot be removed once and for all?), Dungeon que taking more than 30+ mins (so much wasted time). The dungeon party system should be changed so that no matter how high the lvl gap between party members won’t affect the auto que. I really wanted to make my friends like this game.
So much potential is lost in this game if it won;t be managed well.

Knights are marching in from all sides

They can say whatever they want, it won’t change the fact that this game’s population is sinking.

Game companies basically test how far they can go in terms of what they want to do vs. player satisfaction. If there’s people willing to accept this thing that seems crazy, then they’re going to implement and see how far they can take it.

I hope in Tos don´t comethings like this:

C Amistr Bag
English Description:
Bag that looks like the Homunculus Amistr.
MDEF+10
Adds resistance against Player +1%.
Special Effect:
When equipping with ‘C Amistr Cap’, additional resistance against Player +4%

You get it only for Cash one box cost 5€ and theres a 3% chance to get it.
And now the funny thing everybody on the server got it

So many knights… white knights…black knights…hue knights…
fighting all over the place!

Or they should just sell endgame gear for real $30 a piece just to make it easier for us. No one likes RNG.

This really seems like the typical thing for Korean MMOS. I’ve played a few (Tera, RO2, Archeage, etc) and they all seem to have the same problems.

A korean developer makes a pretty sweet game, finds a NA publisher for more dollaz. Said publisher becomes completely hamstrung by korean parent company and can’t do anything without their approval/help, which means that everything is poorly translated, poorly optimized, and is constantly under crashes and bugs, and takes weeks to change (if it ever does).

Eventually the NA publisher just gives up responding to players frustrations, and finds ways to cash cow the living Jesus out of what remains of the game. New costumes in the cash shop, restricting gathering but adding a cash shop item to “recharge” the restriction, adding a new completely broken class for more cash shop exp/costume/mount/whatever sales.

I mean christ, it’s obvious they don’t care when the community takes the effort to downvote the absolute crap out of a dev and almost nothing comes out of it.

I know it’s not the case on -every- korean MMO, and I know I haven’t played long enough to get the full story, but about 90% of what I see on the forums of these games is the same. Just my two cents.

The developers of this game are the publishers in the West. Your argument doesn’t apply to this game. Why do you think so many of us were so optimistic when this game launched?
