Speak here what would make the perfect tree of savior. Let’s take it to IMC’s ears how we would like the game to behave in matters pertaining to TP shop, RMT, Events, and anything else that you think would make a Tree of Savior better for everyone.

Please give good suggestions, try not to be toxic and ironic (I know it is a temptation but …) Maybe IMC listen to us and makes things change.


The perfect tos for me is:

1 - End of RMT (there is hundreds of good ideas to make it happen spread on forum IMC just chek it )
2 - Freedom of Chat: (Really 5 shouts for a day its a pain in the …)
3 - End of cooldown in the skill growth for no token users. (Really its so greedy)
4- Customizable UI.
5- Better Quest lvl track system. ( If you do not use addon, you could be frustrated trying to find the quests level order to reach end game in case of rush levels.)
6- Token 7 (or 3.2,1?) days for every players one time a month. (Just to help thos who cant buy tokens for a while for any reason)

7- Optimized graphics engine
8- FPS improvements
9- Fix PVP, GEMFUED
10- Make balanced PVP tiers
11- Advertise T.O.S so more players join the game after all the above is fixed

Reduce the level caps to optimize the content, we have too many empty/useless maps, equipment enemies and quests
Reworking equipment so for the new low cap (something proly around 150/150 or 100/150) so the damage difference isn’t that big BUT the effect of weapons makes the difference, that way the old unique weapons can have some use
DON’T RELY ON JUST FORCING THE META TO 1 SET, its awful to have those stupidly op 3-5-7 gear set making u invincible, it makes the rest of work and development of equipment A WHOLE WASTE OF TIME
Rework the missions/alternative content to dungeons
Rework the classes so even shop classes can get new offensive skills so its up to their choice if going offensive, shoping or support, that way u don’t waste oportunities of cool class names like Alchemists, Squires or Templars

There are currently multiple viable weapon options as Ichors.

Anyways what you are suggesting is the same thing every other MMO has been doing that has cost them all their players. Dumbing down the decisions made, making things easier not from a grind or RNG perspective like the players want, but rather through intelligence, making the game easier for dumb people or people who don’t want to learn games.

As someone who hates leveling I don’t feel the amount of levels is the issue, maybe the exp gains are kind of awful after 340 but having more stats and more choices is a good thing.

There are a few less useful maps but keep in mind some people care about the quests on those maps, and there is also the fact that they need the monsters, not only do they drop gems for skills but also they offer transformation options to Druids and summoning orbs.

Do not dumb down the game.

For No.2 - Freedom of chat, i agree that 5 shouts per day is very limited, but i don’t think it’s a good idea to make sort of ‘unlimited’. In some other game i played, devs developed a shouting item (there was none originally), made it a cheap cash item and players spammed it too much. Later on it was removed iirc, due to many players’ complaints. At least in TOS we can ‘mute’ shouts (correct me if i am wrong). Just my opinion

For No.3 - i think some future update will implemented this iirc

One thing i’d like to see is a “normalized/not-gear-dependent” PvE and PvP dungeons/features. I was a bit hyped with the Bernice Dungeon, knowing it was a solo content with rewards for top players. The hype went down fast when i realized i couldn’t possibly compete with people with t10 +40 equipment, no matter how good a pilot i am or no matter how fitted my class build is for the said content.

So what decision making gets “easier” with a lower lv cap? Currently, stats are pointless as we get so much and any increase at lv 300+ is miniscule compared to the stats gained from gear at that point. At a lower lv cap, stats gain more value due to scarcity and spending stats becomes a tougher decision (not easier). Scarcity breeds innovation.

Having more stats doesn’t mean more choices. It means each choice made is less and less meaningful because the effect each stat choice becomes smaller and smaller compared to the entirety of choices you make. 1 con is: 100% value at 0 investments, 50% value at 1 investment 25% value at 3 investment and so on and will continue to decrease in value as you progress.

Lowering the lv cap also means lover the power of items to that lower cap. That increases the loot pool we get to choose from for gear making it more complex (not simpler). That also completely removes the problem of gear becoming obsolete too fast as people just trade up to the “next tier” of gear.

Again this is all just one time objectives. Once those objectives are met nobody returns to those maps. Finished all the quests available on said map? Killed all the monsters needed for the journal? Got the transform you needed (out of the very select FEW that are actually useful)? No reason to come back to the map EVER.

Horizontal progression makes ALL maps relevant until the end. Vertical progression (what we have now) makes older maps obsolete.

Guys, lets focus on the topic, its not a topic to question who is right or wrong, its about what make “your” tree of savior perfect. Idea here is give options to try make I M C use something here to improve the game.

    7+8. definitely, and it was working pretty fine between May and August. Best 4 months in ToS…

And here I thought he would bring suggestion about content, but mostly trying to turn ToS in a Socialist game.

Did you get the topic? The goal is to come here and give ideas for I M C to improve the game. Instead of coming here and giving your ideas you came to criticize mine and left nothing constructive but the image of a complaint that does not contribute to anything, only points out defects. If you want more content put what you like and maybe I M C will hear you. Now come here and talk bad about me does not bring you anything good, just make you a fool!

Make some of the obviously underwhelming classes better.

I understand with this many classes it’s near impossible to balance them all, but some of the obviously less useful classes should be improved so people have reasons to choose them.

Cap enhancement on +20 if you reach +10 you cant fall under +10 but upgrading getting expensive and the chances are low … lets say 10% chance and - 1% till +15 :P.
Remove Pot from gear.

Same for ichor but make it more expanisive!

Rng is to punishing in this game.

And give us finaly a new 2-H sword class!

The maps are a problem there are so many cool maps/quest between orsha/klai alone they are all wasted.

Oh my god what is so dificult to understand? The meaning of the topic is say here what make tos perfect for - ** Y O U*** - not judge if players ideas are good or not. We have many players here with many ideas to share, lets respect each one. Just focus on -** I D E A S **-. to try make i m c do something becouse tree of savior need some improvments…

Thats great and all but good ideas should be presented instead of people’s fanfics.

Constructive criticism should be welcomed so that you can filter the “not so great” ideas

i think the zero populated maps in TOS was because no more class rank up quest which it necessary for player to finish class rank quest… therefore i would like to suggest to make an objective for the map that have been abandoned to have a niche or unique gimmick or event to make it relevant to go to the abandoned maps…

I like how the maps such Demon Prison, Kaleijima, Timery, Sausys Room 9 which have all the need to force players to form a party in grinding level . If we can have more map such like above mention maps that will force player to form a party to grind it will make TOS fun to play.

As for the quest like it is still good if it make more noticeable in Achievement Record to encourage player to finish the quest … Example of how player need to finish all main quest to unlock legendary card slot.

I also would like to see an alternative equipment set which would make more class build viable… Afaik… the game mechanic resolve around popular critical type build i.e solmiki leather set…

i also like to see other type of Equipment that improve class skill… which make me want to get this Unique equipment for my specific character (love for Dragoon 3 :haha: )

Well, I’m not going to say I have authorities to make everything to be true.
But well sometimes kind of - with nice luck - something comes to happen.
For doing so, I need not just claims. I need live opinions with solid reasonings.

Maybe some of the users watching in the thread saw me discussing the Fan Art Event or RMT policy Threads.
maybe someone saw I was encouraging the opinions like that.

The Problem with a claim is, it’s hard for me to process.
I’m not saying someone is lying, well people could feel that way, of course.
But to convince developer based on that? well, that’s something totally different story.

There comes a concept of Priorities.
Cause, a resource is limited, we all know that.

The resources are kept being used, something like critical bugs - well mostly bugs in general.
But in the same breath, you have to put resource on creating on new things.

However, we all know that nothing could be perfect from the beginning as well. Too well.
There comes with “improvements”.
Think about you have to distribute your stats each to INT, STR, CON at the same time but you require everything. That would be the example, I guess.

And you come up the man with two Suggestions that
one supported with nice reasons and number amount of users being affected.
And one with just a claim and short sentence.

Which one do you think more likely be chosen?

Well the first one of course. No doubt
It is for me to find the actual number supporting that opinions
but, I can’t even begin the research with one sentence.

So I want to point out some examples, no Offence on @costastagritzis but I’m not sure about his 9 and 10.

Fix PvP on where? You think what character is OP or PVP format has a problem or time line is an issue?

What do you mean on PVP tiers? does this mean that you want League of Legends like PvP Tiers?

For further it would be like…

Let’s say or presume, some specific Job is OP and no one could beat that.

Okay, if so then maybe I could start looking on the records and archives about past Team Battle League results

This Job killed this much of opponents, that is compared to this job its x% higher than Job B

Watching more deeply, okay Now I found even this both players have a similar grade of Weapons, Job B has a clear winning chance than the others.

(Well but this example is more close to like 8. FPS improvements, its short but at least I could come up with

Where to look at. like okay what is causing BAD FPS? - But still this will take me time to find the one what is doing that.)

And then I could bring something to the devs and say.

Hey, the users are thinking like this, and I ran an analysis and it is confirmed to be true, are you going to address anything about this?

And if the Devs convinced what I suggest, and then We could start talking about

Good, now we could set up for the timeline and schedule.

Okay This man have developed this thing, this man will going to take job on this.

Good, I’ll track down until he finishes , and will keep notify him or check about the status.

And then the improvements comes to work. - I kind of skip the part of most things like… Quality check and

Experiments, inside bug check but you get the idea.

A bit distracted, but if you want to make the dev to put their effort on something.
I have to convince him that this issue is far more effective, or Bigger issue than creating new classes, or dungeons or something.

Without reasons, I’ll be lost on the issues. where I even have to look first?
Or even, how could I acquire data to make convince of them?

if u make TOS 2 or some kind, here what i want from them is
remake for stats distribution system
1.make damage have base damage and bonus (bonus count from X% multiple by STR /INT/SPR
depend on skill / class)
so if u go full con or full dex your damage will average /none at all
2. it s ok to have OP block or OP evasion from CON and DEX it can be countered by gem , but as
compensation then make invinciblelity skill from cleric class only work on magic damage only (physical countered by block / evasion, while magic countered by cleric skill)
