Trust me Iāve played Diablo 2, There are items with literally astronmoical odds to drop in the the 10,000ths decimal spot+. And why would I need to farm for a year to talk to you? thatās just an absurd assertion. donāt be rediculous. Bottom line is that no sane person wants to do that or be forced to EVER.
Drop rates from Diablo 2(not even sure if these are the lowest they probably were not):

i just donāt why people are crying about Drop rates like it is something new to these games. In any game for the most party there is a since of Grinding/farming obvi some are a lot more crazy then others.

for the people who are max lvls in games and have nothing else to do but farm spend hours,days,months,years trying to get them LEGIT finally getting that item feels fantastic.

The argument over āI like because it feels great once achieved/foundā vs "I hate it when farmed hours with no result"
is like rich people saying how the current economy is great and all the poor people have to do is the work harder.
In here, the rich people are the lucky ones on loot (feeling great because I am above others who cannot achieve) and the poor people ā¦ well, the unlucky ones.
If I am part of the rich, I wouldnāt want things to change, but I am feeling poor now

I donāt think the drop rates are bad. I had to kill 2500+ banshee for the banshee hood or whatever it wasā¦ but that is still not that much time as you would thinkā¦
I only find the low respawn stuff troublesomeā¦ I didnāt even rly try to get the panto spearhead thingā¦
Also there arenāt enough tanusā¦if only I would be there it would be okā¦but there is always someone else and 1-2 botsā¦ 
I also hardly found vubbe fighters when I was there even after I realised where they spawnā¦ There were always others there too who killed it. Actually I plan to buy it instead of suffer down there.
Oh and 1 more thingā¦ Donāt forget that there are actually classes that can manipulate drop rateā¦ Yeah that means you actually should make chars for itā¦you have a team for a reason.
I donāt know how good it is but I myself planning a thaum for it. But you can try making a doppel orā¦ oracle maybe (but shiny mobs are fixed or something unfortunately)ā¦ or maybe chrono backmasking can be good too?
try old game like Lineage 2 classic you will even see more horrible rate
