The most egotistical and scumbag base class

Dayum, that “Monk-DPS” was an *sshole to top all *ssholes!

Edit: Voted for Cleric because I remember a lot of them spam their buffs mindlessly (at the starting countdown) as well as having no regard for your buff limits.

its usually those priest or chaplains who erase your pardoner buffs.

Which is not really important cause they cast the buffs themselves.

Wat?

People do actually wait for fallen members to return before finishing off a boss? Never really noticed that. Well, not I care either way. Both my PD and Pelt/Squire are pathetic at dmg and dont die cause they are tanky.

Listen to yourself and re-evaluate what you just said.

Most of those that “overbuff” people (or just spam buffs) either contribute against the party’s DPS by overwriting people’s higher level buffs (AND/OR their personal buffs) or worse, by not buffing at the right time; essentially “underbuffing”. As a support, you should always take into account that your party members may have self-buffs that THEY NEED to keep up so that they remain efficient.

Oh look, your Stone Skin is on CD while your party is getting pummeled, could’ve used it now instead of when the timer was ticking down from 30s and there’s no mobs yet (an example of improper buff usage).

Oh you’re an Archer that has limited buff slots? Guess I’ll just have to cast everything on top of everything (praise da lawd halleluya!).

TAKE NOTE, this does not cover/provide an excuse for bad players, but the overall usefulness of your or their buff is wasted.

One other thing, Aspersion Lv16/17 or Sacrament Lv11/12 is not normally learnt (nor buffed) by Priests, which is one of the more common buffs replaced during Mission Runs.

Not that they’ll die because of the loss of these buffs, but your argument was this kind of behavior is fine because you’ll replace it constantly (which not all CAN or DO).

Plus the insurmountable difference in duration from a Pardoner-bought Aspersion/Sacrament versus a party-Priest-provided one is no joke; they also paid for those buffs (this is an issue to a lesser extent).

This varies from scenario to scenario though.

TL;DR

There’s no excuse for “this” kind of behavior.

Way back when I was still using Sr, I seriously hope I won’t que up with a random priest c3/ chaplain. Good thing some people who reroll consider krivis not unlike those days where priest c3 is littered everywhere.

I was only referring to the Pardoner buffs being kicked. And Priest3 can recast them, though most likely not the same level of Sacrament and Aspersion.

EDIT: was @DiMeowgio , but read only mode delayed the post

EDIT²: The bufflimit issue was the main reason for me to add Krivis to Priest3. With Daino, I can just laugh at the bufflimit while using everything I have.

Then you pretty much proved my point. I was merely trying to point out that “this behavior” is inexcusable, even if you can buff it back, because chances are:

A) You won’t remember to (or they’re not in range when you do).
B) It’s not even close to the same level as what they had (bought).
C) With other buff(s) present while this is happening, their other buffs get pushed out.
D) All of the above.

And yes, I have a Lv280 C2-P3-Cha-Ora that has a stockpile of Lv5 Daino scrolls made by my Lv145 C2-P1-K1-Par and I also have a Lv201 C2-K3-Dru (that doesn’t need to do that) and I understand that all these “issues” are negated by having Daino up (at least Lv5+).

In a perfect world, we’d always be paired with someone that has a Krivis (with Daino learnt up to Lv5) or a Daino scroll user… that’s not the reality though.

Archer.
King of KS, mob stealing and bragging about their +15+++ gears.

Swordsman - they have already been buffed and they insist that they are still weak and complain. There are like 1-10 swordie complaint thread everyday. Cant handle too much facepalm

Yep. I just do that too now…

I just remember this In my siauli mission

Cocky fletcher: I love how this catagoon afk. He thinks he is doing the damage .lol.
*he is 1 and I am 2
Me:

Note the other 3 archers are already killing the mob…one hit each…

In tbl…fletcher again

Cocky fletcher: noob cata
Me: yes. I Just created my cata 3 days ago.:expressionless:
Cocky fletcher: look at all my kills. Compared to yours noob.
Me::expressionless:
Cocky fletcher: dont play cata.noob

Another tbl match

Dead fletcher: Run penguin run!lol.
Me: r6 goon vs 4 foes. Killed 1.:expressionless:

Other classes. I never encountered cocky bitches yet…

Dont blame me for thinking ■■■■ with that one skillswonder class🙂…
Statistics says it all…

Yes people do that. It won’t hurt to hold it out for less than a minute so some poor player won’t loose his cube or exp due to a common human error. Unless you don’t really have time and have to catch the bus right outside your house or something. But in that situation you shouldn’t even be queueing for runs in the first place.

Archers and Clerics, the two classes I play <3

Clerics, because they’re selfish idiots. Constantly overwriting others’ buffs, spamming all their buffs kicking out other classes’, Monks that won’t buff or heal even though they chose the Priest 3 route… or people who chose a full support route but won’t heal or protect, just hit the bosses with their tiny stick =.=
I’ve developped a hatred of Chaplains and Priests with time. If there’s one in my party and I’m also on a Priest, I just know I’ll get pissed off in the next 3 minutes.
Also… Plague Doctors who don’t protect from debuffs or cure us in dungeons with mobs that use poison, lethargy and such @_@

Archers because they don’t think much. They think about doing DPS and that’s about it… If they pull aggro they don’t try to keep them in aoes or anything. Saw this archer never using his skills during the instance (I guess to not use his SP) and once at boss he went full DPS and pulled boss far from everybody… I guess to be #1… ? What’s the point !?
Some don’t even bother trying to dodge. I don’t get it.
And it’s the class that eats heal tiles usually the most. They run to them even if they’ve barely lost any HP or stand on them…

After reading all of this thread I feel relieved I don’t play archers. I know they can be annoying but man they can really piss people off o.o

Worse, PD that casts AND maintains Bloodletting in Siaulai Mission (this mission specifically).

WHY, JUST WHY?

Not sure what you are talking about, pardoner buffs are the only things priests can’t over buff off your bar. I can understand if you were complaining about loosing swift step, gung ho, quick cast, etc.

archers most definitely…

there is just endless of them that think pressing 1 button = skill, while walking around like they are the biggest badass around. Then they get wreck by wiz and cleric, yet still they hold onto this baseless ego.

i dont know whats with archer players in general.

I meet 1 or 2 nice archer player, and thats almost a miracle.

swordman know they sux and are deadweight, so usually very quiet. majority of the annoying swordman all quit by now.

cleric is oftenly jerk on the outside and very soft inside, they just cant resist healing.

wiz oftenly know they are strong and broken at times, so they dont brag that its their personal skill all that often. however, it is hard for them to resist bragging, yet they know their leveling was pretty rough getting high level and they received plenty of help; it remain in the back of their mind.

Do I have to give a visual example? Of course they WONT OVERWRITE your buff (same VS same).

Picture this, Rank 5 Archer.

He bought Aspersion, Sacrament (2 slots), he needs 1 more for his Swift Step (solo for his crit w/attribute), that leaves him with 2 slots if non-token, 3 if token user (and ofc if he bought the +1 buff slot for R5).

Now with the start of the dungeon, C2-P3 casts DIVINE MIGHT + STONE SKIN + MONSTRANCE. Oh would you look at that, all slots taken, fine.

BUT WAIT, random casting of REFLECT SHIELD (from your GoodGuyElememe) and boom, one of the 2 buffs bought by the “example archer” gets booted to the left (gone).

Now you say, fine, “example archer” can just ask for the missing buff from the C2-P3. Guess what, chances are the C2-P3:

a) Has Lv1 Sacrament (versus the Lv10/11/12 from Pardoner with 1HR+)
b) Has Lv1 or NO Aspersion (versus the Lv15/16/17 from Pardoner with 1HR+)

Oh and would you look at that? These two buffs aren’t really “maintained” solely by the Priest because most people expect you to GET YOUR OWN before joining these types of parties.

OH AND WHAT’S THAT? THIS IS NOT EVEN TAKING INTO ACCOUNT BLESSING!?

You see? You get my point, I detailed everything so that if you bothered to read through it, you’ll get it. People did.

Unlees it changed in the past two months while I was gone. When I used to get buffs on my archer and go que dungeons, I only ever lost blessing and that was due to hit count. Other priests would over buff and I would lose my swift step and steady aim and even my cloaking. Never once saw my pardoner buffs pushed off to the left.
