Haha, I’m weighing my options in the meantime, to be honest. I don’t mind people being toxic sometimes in the thread as a form of community interaction, but 400+ posts of gibberish in a span of a few days and getting death threats over it does seem a tad bit too much. The options I’m thinking of right now are:

Filtering out every GTW and guild memes I see henceforth since that’s probably the trigger to all of this. I have given up convincing others that I don’t make all the memes, especially GTW ones since I have no context behind them (I don’t participate in GTW myself) and have said numerous times that I can remove memes that people find offensive if they PM me or something (yes, I have deleted memes here and there).

Continue henceforth with no memes at all. Plain, simple, no fun, why am I here, just to suffer.

Finding someone else to do the Round-Up and take over for me on a different website so this spam won’t happen. I’ve already contacted a few individuals who are interested in taking over (they aren’t interested in the memes, though) and I can hand it over whenever I feel there’s no point left. If anything, doing Round-Ups for this long makes me realize I shouldn’t have made the Round-Up on the forums. Besides, handing over the Round-Up to another website will give them more traffic to help them out at least.

Continue as is and I’ll link the Round-Up post every day or so while I pray that others can actually be mature for once and take their kiddie fight elsewhere or at least tone it down. Its not the first time guilds have engaged in similar behavior in this thread, but it IS the first time people have taken things to such long-winded squabbles. I don’t mind continuing the Round-Up but I have no need for this to hang around when Lama comes.
I personally have enough time to ponder over this with the advent of Lama coming in maybe 2-3 months or so, and I wish to conclude this matter before then. I’ll wait and see if this goes on for much longer.
In the end, the root of this problem is IMC’s lack of forum moderation for enabling this behavior and there’s nothing I can do about that as a mere player.
