In here, I will be doing on covering on all servers, Klaipeda, Fedimian, Telsiai, Silute and any new happenings in Tree of Savior every week on Monday/Tuesday!

[August Week 6 - September Week 1, August 31 - September 6, 2021]

Compared to the chaotic week that is the release of the Goddess Patch, these past few weeks have been rather quiet for the IToS player base with everyone busily gearing up and grinding the new content. The HOT WEEK event, one of the few events to help new/existing players get up to speed, is closing this week, and I give my condolences to those who missed it. While nothing much has happened along with the lack of any new happenings in this week’s patch notes, the major content patch has given players plenty to deal with, and the Weekly Boss Rankings section has been quite fun to watch as new builds rise up the rankings while other builds that may have been used by KToS WBR aren’t really emulated in the IToS WBR.

With that said, here’s a personal and special condolences to the complete absence of Nak Muay in the rankings as compared to KToS Rankings.

Meanwhile in KToS, the KTest servers just received a rather small patch, but with it comes the rework on the game’s GTW content, though we won’t be able to see how the updates work until the weekends assuming there are guilds in KTest to test this. The patch also comes with some adjustments on varios content like Mercenary Coin Shop tweaks and more, though I’m still waiting out on Luchador.

Lately, I’ve been asked about whether I should add Bernice Rankings into my Round-Up ever since Goddess Patch, and I’m still split on whether I should bother doing it after talking with various players. Even before that, I don’t really know how to go about it, like whether to just show top rankers among all classes, top rankers per class tree and how far down the ranks do I take, and stuff.

I see both sides of why Bernice Rankings may or may not be added but yeah I’ll just leave it to vote, should I add Bernice Rankings into the Round-Up?

[September Week 2, September 7 - September 13, 2021]

Its been a few weeks since the release of the Goddess Patch as it is the IToS player base’s turn to emulate KToS"s grinding phase with the new system while we wait for new content so nothing much will probably be happening for now, though there are rumors that the Leticia cube IMC released this week is by far the worst one they have seen in a long time just as a caution to players. With that said, IMC has hinted that there will be a Res Sacrae Gem re-organization update of sorts on September 26th, which is in line with information that IMC is planning on releasing information of such in KToS/KTest on September 16th, so look out for that! IMC is also giving out more freebies to players as well (probably due to new players having trouble getting Archstone Fragments, Complete Pieces and Dark Red Soul Stones), so do claim them and gear your characters further!

Meanwhile, the KToS servers have received their TBL and GTW changes that were disclosed during ToS’s September Developer’s Blog, and from videos of the new 5v5 TBL … its less about trying to wipe your opponents and more about having more HP than the other team by the end of the timer since its hard for players to die in the new TBL, and I have not found any videos of the new GTW yet to talk about it. TBL seemed like a mixed bag so far, and it’ll fall on IMC to either leave the PvP content they wanted to fix since early this year or last year to rot or fix it with the coming weeks. KToS also got a notice last week that a Res Sacrae Gem reorganization is in the works on September 16th, and with how this update is urgently being pushed to IToS as well, expect some important changes to come!

Oh yeah, more Luchador information has been found here and there, and from the names of the skills and their sound effects, Luchador personally sounds like a drunk player drinking shots and dunking people while a crowd cheers or boos.

So the poll has shown … that an overwhelming amount of players think Bernice Rankings is a waste of time. In all fairness, I haven’t interacted with the Bernice Rankings much since the Goddess Patch since I took so long to get my Aether Gems, so I’m still not too informed about the new Bernice Rankings to know myself if it’s worth keeping an eye out for it. Apologies to the players who have asked for Bernice Rankings, but I won’t be doing those rankings in my Round-Up. With that said, if there’s any special reason to do the rankings that I might’ve missed out, feel free to tell me otherwise!

[September Week 3, September 14 - September 20, 2021]

Apologies for the late Round-Up, but it’s been an extremely busy last week and by the time I got time to write the Round-Up, I just felt too lazy to even start. By coincidence though, IMC made this week’s maintenance 2 days later due to Chuseok Holiday, so I guess that’s free time now for me to write. Nothing much is happening in the IToS servers as players are busily gearing up as always, though there seems to be a bit of discontent and opinions with how the auto-match Saint Sacellum raid takes too long due to insufficiently funded characters and that the raid should have an increased Gear Score or its difficulty be eased up. Right now though, the focus of the IToS community is the upcoming news regarding the recently-introduced Luchador class …

… and so on KToS land, IMC has finally rolled out a showcase of their latest class, Luchador (and here’s a video to help me do all the talking!):

Along with the new class, IMC has also planned some class balance changes to other Swordsmen classes, especially Strike Swordsmen classes (and a nice fashion change to Dragoon IMO). It’s been quite a few months since IMC has done any proper class balance changes ever since their Goddess Patch development (like, way back in May I think) and with different people in charge of the class balance changes, I assume many are interested in the capabilities of the current IMC and what kind of class balance changes IMC will be doing henceforth. As with IMC’s aforementioned plans, IMC will also be doing a class rework to a Cleric class next month, and the Swordsmen changes will hopefully gleam through what kind of changes to expect next month on that Cleric class and other classes in the same tree as well.

(Just saying, IMC you’re not fooling anyone, that looks like Sadhu)

[September Week 4, September 21 - September 27, 2021]

Yep, nothing much this week. IMC has brought over the Res Sacrae System changes over to IToS, and also brought along some changes to Exchange Medals and some translated news about the new PvP systems. That said, there’s really nothing much to write about IToS these days, just like how it was with KToS a few weeks after Goddess Patch arrived on their servers. It’s a farming phase for IToS indeed.

Meanwhile, Luchador has finally arrived on the KTest servers for testing (looks like such an enjoyable class to play with), and so far impressions with its damage and playstyle seems to be favorable. The new class also came with more changes to Swordsman (along with a few miscellaneous changes to a few classes outside Swordsmen) and there have been some discontent that the changes are somewhat for the worse. IMC has time to fine-tune the changes given its only been a day since the patch, but I’m personally unimpressed by the changes as well.

This is the first class balance changes the current team has done since their clean-up of the failed livestream plans before Goddess Patch, and so far it does not bring me any hope that the current team will fix much proper changes and class balances. With Cleric changes coming next month, my expectations have really been dampened by the Swordsman changes and my worries about Sadhu rework have only increased (c’mon, how many Sadhu reworks does IMC need to finally fix Sadhu).

I’m a bit disappointed nobody reached the 100 bil mark, but 80 bil is still an impressive feat!

Nah I know exactly what the problem is, and it has been the same since november 2019 when they butchered mouse mode and I’m probably the last idiot playing the game that uses mouse to play
