[September Week 3, September 14 - September 20, 2021]
Apologies for the late Round-Up, but it’s been an extremely busy last week and by the time I got time to write the Round-Up, I just felt too lazy to even start. By coincidence though, IMC made this week’s maintenance 2 days later due to Chuseok Holiday, so I guess that’s free time now for me to write. Nothing much is happening in the IToS servers as players are busily gearing up as always, though there seems to be a bit of discontent and opinions with how the auto-match Saint Sacellum raid takes too long due to insufficiently funded characters and that the raid should have an increased Gear Score or its difficulty be eased up. Right now though, the focus of the IToS community is the upcoming news regarding the recently-introduced Luchador class …
… and so on KToS land, IMC has finally rolled out a showcase of their latest class, Luchador (and here’s a video to help me do all the talking!):
Along with the new class, IMC has also planned some class balance changes to other Swordsmen classes, especially Strike Swordsmen classes (and a nice fashion change to Dragoon IMO). It’s been quite a few months since IMC has done any proper class balance changes ever since their Goddess Patch development (like, way back in May I think) and with different people in charge of the class balance changes, I assume many are interested in the capabilities of the current IMC and what kind of class balance changes IMC will be doing henceforth. As with IMC’s aforementioned plans, IMC will also be doing a class rework to a Cleric class next month, and the Swordsmen changes will hopefully gleam through what kind of changes to expect next month on that Cleric class and other classes in the same tree as well.
(Just saying, IMC you’re not fooling anyone, that looks like Sadhu)

[September Week 4, September 21 - September 27, 2021]
Yep, nothing much this week. IMC has brought over the Res Sacrae System changes over to IToS, and also brought along some changes to Exchange Medals and some translated news about the new PvP systems. That said, there’s really nothing much to write about IToS these days, just like how it was with KToS a few weeks after Goddess Patch arrived on their servers. It’s a farming phase for IToS indeed.
Meanwhile, Luchador has finally arrived on the KTest servers for testing (looks like such an enjoyable class to play with), and so far impressions with its damage and playstyle seems to be favorable. The new class also came with more changes to Swordsman (along with a few miscellaneous changes to a few classes outside Swordsmen) and there have been some discontent that the changes are somewhat for the worse. IMC has time to fine-tune the changes given its only been a day since the patch, but I’m personally unimpressed by the changes as well.
This is the first class balance changes the current team has done since their clean-up of the failed livestream plans before Goddess Patch, and so far it does not bring me any hope that the current team will fix much proper changes and class balances. With Cleric changes coming next month, my expectations have really been dampened by the Swordsman changes and my worries about Sadhu rework have only increased (c’mon, how many Sadhu reworks does IMC need to finally fix Sadhu).
