The ipf files are damaged and cannot be read. The client will now shutdown

Bug Description : After selecting the server that i wish to connect to, the game will freeze and i will received the message. I do hear the sound of the lodge where we choose the character that we wanted to play tho.

Steps to reproduce the issue :

  1. Run Tree of Savior
  2. Clicked on Varena / Other Server
  3. Then the game will freeze before the pop up will say ipf files are damaged and cannot be read.

Try removing all addons (if any) and go to your steam library, right click ToS from the list, Properties, Local Files, Verify Game Cache…

see if that helps

i’ve done that validated the local files and redownloaded 265 mb of files but i still could not log in to varena. it seems like the problem only occurs to the servers which i’ve created a character inside tho. i tried creating a new server in salute and it works just fine. :expressionless:

Same problem here, on both computers at my home. Can’t connect to Varena server.
