To be fair thought, the “I am not sure” category is the “maybe” group. The bigger the maybe group is, the more the developers will be forced to listen to the community. Those are the ones that needs to be convinced to keep playing. Use democracy to to force your opinions onto the game! :muscle:

Well, if you really want to read the data correctly, considering there were actually 9000 players in the last CBT, there are 9000-1650 players who don’t give ■■■■ enough about this game for filling up a 5mn survey, only the most dedicated ones did and that’s why we have this biaised data. So I would say there are definitely more “Maybe”.

We dont need 9000 votes to know if people participate in second beta.or OBT… 1000 votes is enough for knowing what people think about the game.

Stop! My heart can’t take it!

Indeed, 1000 people should be enough (~10% of the population), but in the case that the people who filled up the survey are randomly chosen.

This is not the case here : Only the most dedicated ToS players filled this survey up (maybe in the hope of the survey will give them another beta access), naturally they’re more enclined to play again than those who didn’t care about filling the survey.

I’m just saying that we shouldn’t trust this information, there are definitely not 98.1% of people who played the beta who want to play again for the next beta, maybe something like 70% or 80% IMHO.

u know that a lot of ppl didnt even get the mail ?!?

In Sweden, we’re taught that it’s very important to vote. Make your voice heard. To have the privilege to live in a democracy and not use it to its fullest is a great way to dishonor every human that ever fought for us to be able to live in one.

Get your â– â– â– â–  together and make your voice heard! :muscle:

Yeah, kind of a letdown it got filtered as spam by many mailing systems, gmail included.

@harimaku : I maintain that people who don’t come to forums and don’t browse reddit aren’t as much enclined to play the game again as we are

@Xenobius : I hope IMC will take note for their next mails not to use the word “survey” with a “noreply” mail alias.

1000 votes is hardly a good sample size…especially when you’re trying to make bank on a game.

All 1000 tells me is that there aren’t that many people interested in following everything social about the game (Forum, FB, Twitter, etc) and that alone reflects negatively.

Meanwhile people are losing their minds about MS2 and if it will ever reach NA after how well MS1 did…they dont even have to open a vote for it.

IMC should make a news regarding the survey in the Home/Announcement section and post one in Facebook as well so people would know about this. Plus with the notification of the mail ended up in Spam folder as well.

However I prefer such question to be asked when everyone gets to play to produce much more satisfying results.

are you sure? I guess they chose hardcore players that experienced many things in the game

this survey proves 2 out of 1657 people do not have souls.

They didn’t chose anybody, they sent the survey to everybody.
What I meant is that whatever the number of people who fill up the survey, they are biaised because they want to play another beta or they wouldn’t mind filling up the survey, so it is not surprising that we get results that doesn’t represent anything. The correlation between filling up the survey and wanting to play another beta is very strong, that’s what this result demonstrates.

Same thing happened in Korean CBT 2 survey… Only few people answered and look how much people participated in CBT3…If someone does not want take survey it doesnt mean they aren’t interested… They might be busy with their lifes and most of survey post turned filtered spam…

I’m not saying this is wrong. Specially for the spam. But I’m not sure it is significant compared to the “I want to play TOS again” <-> “I want to fill up this survey” correlation.
Anyway, we will never know, I’m making suppositions just as you are, let’s move on a next topic

Even though i didn’t participate in the beta test, i would say to keep on picking the testers who answered the survey, and who found and reported bugs, of course if i get the key i will work together to make the game a better game, but i would rather have people replaying the game and discovering new problems than having new people who really don’t give much thought to it and does only want to play it you know? i might be wrong but that’s my 2cents on the subject.

Did you know some people got more than 1 key right?Meaning that those people who got the Beta key from IMC would receive the email but those extra key users that got it from those multi key holders won’t get an email from the IMC.So imagine the amount of people who didn’t get an email for the survey because of people that had extra key and gave them away.
