The Highest Rank?

I was deciding the classes and cycles that I will take with my swordsman and a question came to my mind: What is the highest rank (since the number of cycles and classes that can be obtained depend on the maximum number of ranks)? Correct me if I’m wrong, but - currently - the highest rank is 7.

So, my guess is that the highest rank will be 10. Thoughts?

Highest rank in CBT is going to be 6. Highest rank in Release, no one knows but it’s speculated to be 10. Could be less, who knows.

Maximum rank used to be 10 closing with 76 classes plus 4 hidden classes.

it’s still strange to me cause that means there will be 600 base level but only 150 class level :S ?

didn’t i read somewhere that exp and class exp were two different scales? but it would make sense too if character lvl up = class lvl up.

Yes they are it’s way harder to reach class lvl 100 than base level 100 i don’t know if they are still true but you have exp table here http://www.tosbase.com/game/exp-tables/ for exemple you need 170 000 000 exp for lvl 90 class so rank 7 and only 10,865,574 for base level 90.

what i find strange is that to reach level 300 you need 1 000 000 000 so you would be already like rank 9 at lvl 300 so what about the 300 other level.

as in, one would be a full 10 ranks of classes full class lvls well before they character lvl cap? I would assume that this would mean one of two things. A - exp still needs to be retuned, or B - character scaling into late game would be far less than scaling into max class lvl (fairly even between a lvl 350 rank 10 class and a lvl 500) but still reward somewhat for exp gains in later play.

Mobs of level 580+ have been spotted, it is possible that max level might be somewhere along the lines of 600. If max level is 600, current max level is 200 and we’re able to go to rank 6, then either the ranks will be widened between one another or we’re in for a good couple of classes ahead of us.

ranks being widened would follow along with idea A i gave, there is already good speculation as to there being 10 ranks of classes, and i was also assuming that max lvl was 600, i just gave an example that if idea B were the case, there wouldnt be too much of a power gap between lowest character lvl and highest character lvl of max rank class (just the whatever is awarded for each character lvl aka stat points)

I was not replying to you but the op. Last class is pbly rank 10, last circle 12 imo, but thats just my idea of it.

ah, sorry for the misunderstanding then. but you raise a great point right there. sure there may be 10 ranks of classes. I did not think of the idea of there being 12 class rankings you can lvl (10 last real rank, but can go 2 more circles), this allows rank 9 and 10 classes scale more, and more freedom of builds including rank 8 or lower having less effect on what you take after them. say rank 6 goes to character lvl 200, 10 might be at 400-450, circle 12 might very well have you end up at 600.
