If musketeer isn’t too high in rank, I’m guessing there might be a sniper class as a hidden continuation? I feel like there also might be some sort of universal gathering class, kind of close to the gathering jobs in FFXIV. That is, they can gather materials from various structures in the game (grass, trees, rocks, etc). I say this, because most class trees already can do this, but in a limited manner. Why not make a hidden, umbrella one?

Dragoon and Musketeer are probably not rank 10 hidden classes, imo. Still though, I don’t know about Panzer. If it’s a literally tank-girl thing, I’m gonna ■■■■ myself (as well as say it’s hidden).

Additionally, I feel like the limit on hidden classes will slowly be lifted every once in a while. I don’t know how unique they’ll actually be, but it’s kind of a bummer for newer (in regards way down the game’s timeline) players to join and learn about hidden classes, then literally never be able to play as them.

Hidden classes could also use quests that require various players to unlock, like the godly seals in RO. That way, you could only follow that path with the power of friendship! Or a guild effort.

I am excited for hidden classes! nothing like surprises!

Nah I bet the final class you’ll just become a tree.

Im hoping for trains classes, i like trains.

On the topic, I believe devs will think a way of not locking hidden classes permanently. Maybe setting the hidden classes portion based on server population percentages, speculation from ToSG community though.

A system like this could work, or perhaps a Royal Alchemist - type system where the top % scoring/achieving people in a class get the hidden class unlocked to play as long as they retain that ranking. Gives incentive to keep playing.

That’s a great, if they’re above rank 10. That is, everyone can reach rank 10, but only a select few can be 10 +. However, if they’re side by side with other class ranks (that is, they’re a “hidden” rank 10 class), I don’t see it working like that.

hmm hidden class … why not make a unique skill? XD

i would like to get one of those hidden classes but if it only made for extreme gamers then ill pass… im not that too competitive of a person… and many gamers out there are aiming for this @_@" ill just stick to my build and make the best out of it!

I’ll bet the top 100 would be extremely hardcore players lol, or maybe either change the conditions to be met, to be fair with all players.

I think when the 100 selected player system is applied to all rank 10 classes works too? Bcs all rank 10s are hidden.

Oh no no, sorry - I meant in the context that you could lose a hidden class as @Skendya was talking about. So what I meant was if the hidden classes were also rank 10, they wouldn’t work in a system where you could lose your position as a hidden class player. They would only work if they were above rank 10, as some sort of bonus class (once again, this is all speculation, and in the context of @Skendya’s idea that only top ranking players had access to hidden classes and could lose them).

What I mean is, say we have a Rank [#] class called X. The top, say, 10% of the X class’ players can unlock the additional class, Y, which is also Rank [#], and offers some unique bonuses or different playstyles, etc. Not explicitly stronger, I guess.

This is all speculation as @Sourpuss says. I imagine IMC means hidden in a more literal sense that anyone can get them, you just need to unlock them or find them somehow.

Wonder if Hidden Class has some kind of ‘Ultimate’ skill. You know, a powerful and long cooldown skill. I’d love to see that. Or anything similar.

@Skendya @Sourpuss I see. From what I’ve understood is that hidden classes with point-system in a way are ‘separated’ as bonuses/extensions (10+) from normal rank 10s.

I was instead thinking another similar, that rank 9 players with condition met/most points are rewarded with rank 10s. But then I thought that would be somewhat redundant to change builds here and there.

THIS IS A REALLY LIKE IDEA! It gives a strong vibe to actually make ToS unique to any other games out there. A group of assassins that carry out secret assassination missions?? Assassin Creed material right there bro! 11/10 thumbs up for you sir!

Don’t you think it would be unfair if secret classes can only be attained by a limited number of players? + Secret classes won’t be secret classes when someone posts a walkthrough on how how to get the secret class xD Perhaps… it has to be really difficult or really long process to get there.

Those that have played the Korean versions, understands Korean or has Korean friends will have the knowledge of location to find/start these hidden quests/classes. :sweat_smile:
