The grinding in this is boring... due to low/slow spawn rates

i never grinded and im level 100 but used some exp cards and i still have 60 lvl 4 exp card and 100+ lvl 5 exp card…

i suggest you do both main quest in klaipeda and orsha and maps that is in range of your level or lower.

Usually i dont use guides to play a game… I like to do all by myself

The funny thing is.

Some areas got heavily nerfed with spawnrates. So much that they’re totaly bullshit.

But others are still really good.

Neffete Mine F2. You clear a room in 1 minute, and 1 of the 20 mobs groups spawn on you each x seconds.

Or hallovetners … fediman suburbs or ferrrotery hills. Both have good spawnrates. But only if your solo farming them. WHile changing channels i did make good exp … but as soon as two people try to farm these like 3 channels maps… it’s over.

Increase the SPAWNRATE back to previous level imc xD…

based on the video provided above the new spawn rates is the worst one.

server checks if a monster died and starts the countdown. so if you kill them slowly while the server isnt checking then all of them will respawn altogether

old spawn mechanics is already good and they just need to adjust a few timing. from 10 sec after death make it 15 sec or 20 sec so you have time to clear everything then the old one will respawn back.

Why do you want to lower the old spawn rate while it was already not enough ?
(The place of the video was actually one of the few good places, places which quickly became crowded)

it is only for the low level area where players cant proceed without wiping everything.

im talking about the tenet specifically since in icbt2 i wasted a lot of hp pots just to go to the quest area.

and the only problem in this current mechanics is the server checking the death instead of individual death check.

and adding 5-10 sec to the spawn timer wont hurt much unlike the current which is no matter how long the spawn timer is it wont matter as long as the server isn’t checking their deaths

worst of all the channels broke today, 3/8 channels working and everyone has to squeeze into those 3 and start tagging mobs :confused:

Not everyone played the CB for months, you know. Also some people play builds that cant oneshot the screen by looking at it, while moving from objective to objective.

this dont fix the problem as well. you at last understand what the problem here at all?

camping spawn locations you do know this game useis a ticker spawn rate system right?

There are two tickers one for limit of monster on the map and the other for how meny monsters there should be on the map at a given time when one monster is killed somewhere else on the map will spawn another now stop camping one location and do a search.

that’s a misconception there that’s like saying all Asians love rice… Koreans made grinding games because its a method of keeping people inside the game when subscriptions was around as it is a dirty trick it worked to keep people in the game unfortunately this does not work so much for F2P unless people buy the EXP scrolls.

Especially when the mob you need spawns only in 2 rooms, they are constantly camped by players on all channels, and the mobs take 2-5 minutes to respawn instead of 15 seconds like they used to in previous beta tests.

Apart from that you’re pretty spot on.

its the same system in Raganrok online remember the guy who made ToS also made Raganrok online so he will most likely take core systems that worked from that game to this.

the current spawn mechanic is a bit different than the one on ragnarok

in ragnarok once the monster dies it starts ticking until its supposed respawn time comes.

in ToS the server checks every x minutes to see if a monster on the map died and then starts ticking until its supposed respawn time.

so difference is the way it checks when it die.
from individual checking to group checking.

even if you kill 10 the last 10 sec and killed another 5 after all 15 will respawn at the same time.

Didn’t mob often respawned as soon as they died in RO ?
Because I never emptied “zones” in RO like I did in iCBT2…

some mobs respawn right after they are killed while some (rarer monster or simple object like red plants blue plants etc.) have respawn timer after dying.

Is grinding from like 70 to 80 in masouleum chapel even needed yet? i feel like the xp is so slow that i should just pop my level 3 xp cards ( i got like 420 now) so i can keep doing maps till i reach 86 or so.

Is it somewhat true we should spent all lvl 3 xp cards by level 90? wont i really need them later?

Yes i did and i discovered this is not a solo game and not onlly i think of doing this.
YOU SOME TIME CANT GET QUEST MONSTERS.
In ktos thr spawn is not so ad in bata it was bot so bad. Stop defend imc and think you so smart wheb you dumd as ■■■■.
