The grinding in this is boring... due to low/slow spawn rates

grinding is just inefficient for exp, even back in closed beta grinding came secondary to getting those sweet exp cards lol

they did buff grinding by making monsters drop exp cards, but the spawn rate back then was generally abysmal so it was kinda pointless

then they introduced the auto matchmaking and 600% bonus dungeon exp since everyone was complaining of how there was no viable exp besides doing quests…

then IMC confused me with their decisions to nerf the spawn rates of high spawn maps (rip demon prison) then proceeded to nerf the dungeon entries to 2 from 5
like wtf do they want us to do lol?

Play longer,that what they want.
But this was they lose lots of paying players befor they leting in the free.so imc lose here.

Reason why the spawn rates should be brought back to normal, or even higher than in iCBT.

no they are not imo… when they released the game to early access the spawns was working… but they changed it by accident

if the spawn rates are too low then half the time people arent even playing lol so technicaly they are shortening our play time

would be fine if they loaded the spawn rates to crazy levels then nerfed the exp imo, atleast we get to beat the ■■■■ of huge waves of mobs and actually play.

Yeah, even in iCBT I have been disappointed by spawnrate/density…
Sometime you had to walk between rooms in order to maximize your exp/h.

Apart dungeons, I only found one map where partying was efficient.

They changed the spawn rates just a few hours after the release because people were having trouble with server queues. They allocated more server power to help players login, at the sacrifice of decreasing spawn rates.

Only you do play longer. It takes you more time to lvl up.

And now we can go in but wai for the monsters. Nice m9ve imc nice move. Well at last the starting maps dont have this problem.

this man has the right of it pretty much what I did.

And how it fix the spaw problem?there quests that you csnd even do because you csnt kill the nonsters.

Doesn’t solve the problem. People are already camping the spawn points on most channels. Players shouldn’t be forced to channel switch just to kill mobs for quests, it’s a waste of time and a very annoying experience.

This is no longer a grinding game. The devs listened to their focus group koreans (koreans are a bunch of casual mobile gamers these days, they stopped being hardcore almost a decade ago). As a result we got a lot more quests and quest exp, and lower mob spawn rates, lower mob exp, and no good grinding locations

also pretty boring questing like this… a significant percentage of time is spent running around and looking for monsters… i was in this lvl 145 zone and there were only me and my buddy on the map and still we had to run around so much to look for mobs only to quest :S

running around is not really that exciting dont you think?

wtf?

the Eu/na Version isnt the same as Korean one and this isnt a mobile game and also Koreans love Grinding games… or are you just blind as hell?

What do you mean it isnt the same version? We are playing the korean version with a translation patch, essentially. There have been some small changes otherwise, maybe the two games will diverge greatly as time goes on, but for now we are playing, progression wise, what korea is playing.

Mobile games are super popular in korea, and this brings down the more serious game market, and infects the playerbase with the disease of casualization.

Korean grinding is a meme that has not been true for some time now. Koreans cant afford to grind anymore due to their economy requiring everyone to be more casual.

nope we are not…

the korean version has been out for a very long time. and this isnt the same version it never is.

plus we dont get the same things they are most likely changed and also koreans are not casual lol.

i think u should get a check on your ass facts

a very long time? what are you on about? Korean live has only been out for a few months. At the end of icbt2 korean closed beta (which was ongoing) ended, and open beta started shortly after. It then progressed into korean live.
It is effectively the same version as korean live, and it is the people who played ktos who have been our primary source of information in the last few weeks. We have exactly one patch worth of difference from korean, and that was the change to skyliner and a couple other minor things. Or we did as of a week or so ago, its possible ktos got a more divergent patch since this game has gone live, as im not following it anymore.

You offering to check it for me qt? :^)
