OMG we get, it’s beta. But it’s a bug and we’re here reporting the error. THAT’S WHY THE BETA EXIST.
I was able to get in after reinstalling the game. But I was grinding today, my FPS dropped below 10 (never happened, but it was a boss in a map, there was a lop of people there, well…) and froze. Ok. Fine. Lost the fight but let’s try again.
As I open the game, IPF message again… Oh dear god, why?
I have the same error and with the last maintenance is worse…

did you try delete patch folder and re-download again using VERIFY thingy ?
Yes, but is kinda of random when it’s going to work or not. Sometimes I can login without error, sometimes I can’t…
Okay, I got it. Everytime I shut down the game, I have to do the same thing (verify the archives) to make it work… It’s becoming annoying.
And what?
If this is BETTA TEST, need slowpoke and do nothing with client(its bout devo work)?
CBT for test translate and bug of !!!GAME!!!,not client bug… Client bug need test when you have client from kro… Developers(or who they have) must test it… Imho…
And i dont think somone have up max lvl(idk which it in this content and version of client)… And what test we have? Half of contetn? Its ok!

Already did that. Didn’t work.
Solution:
1 run game normally
2nd CTRL + ALT + DEL —> admin tasks go to the game, right click, go to trial, right click open location
3rd search user.xlm file, open with WordPad, edit the portion of <Resolution mode = “1” to "2.
3rd run game select server, enter and quickly press the X to close the game and wait for 3 seconds to put cancel and ready to play.
1° ejecutar juego nornalmente
2° ctrl+alt+sup—> admin tareas van al juego, click derecho , ir a proceso, click derecho abrir ubicación
3° buscar archivo user.xlm, abrir con wordpad, editar la parte de <Resolution mode=“1” a "2.
3° ejecutar juego seleccionar servidor, entrar y rápidamente apretar la x para cerrar el juego esperar unos 3 seg y poner cancelar y listo a jugar.

Thanks, it worked for me. But now i have to play in windowed mode. Oh well, as long as there is a workaround.
I think this problem sprung up because a lot of people modified some of their xml files because of:
- the previous “$CID” problem,
- and lack of keyboard customization in-game.
I personally had this problem happen when I modified user.xml as work around for the previous $CID problem. It was somewhat fixed because when I deleted the user.xml and allowed the game to generate it. However, it still happens randomly when I login and always when I try to switch characters.
Also, the way this does not consistently happen might be because of the way they check for file integrity. Even those that never modified any files since the start of CBT2 are affected by this. The devs better fix this or this is going to affect the open beta.

i reinstalled everything after maintenance and i didn’t have that thing in log in anymore, now i have it all the time and i didn’t modify anymore files…
It’s so random that we will probably have to wait until the next patch or something.

These suggestions are superstitions. It’s a connection bug.
If it works, it was lucky. Sometimes you just keep trying to connect and it works.
There’s only one solution: IMC programmers find that error and give new patch fixing it.
Seems random for me, altho the few times I tried to connect in the other non latin servers it connected with few tries. Couldnt join latin server so far.
Im done with this game.
Can’t play.
Evry time Im playin random disconnect, And even if I try to reconnect pss IPF files broken…and after 10000 ATEMPS then I can login again , to get disconnected one time more after half minute…
Nah BAD close beta, I hope Open beta improve a lot of things, but this is just a spend of time.
NOTE:
I havent modified nothing of my client and even I did reinstall of all, including steam.

there is no real fix for this, the problem lies at the game’s faulty file detection.
it’s like flipping a coin every time you start up the game, you just gotto hope the error doesn’t occur.
Seriously, this error is really annoying and I’m surprised none of the admins are replying on this thread yet
