You are right, because smart people will choose take 100 hours to do something that can be done in 1 hour

Your face must be really red from face palming yourself so much. Considering you are trying to build an argument based on a troll post (cant believe i had to out say it). In hopes you will finally understand.
Thatās what someone said to me when I brought up the issue of transferring Swashbuckling to Swordsman tree. He said that by doing that, all swordsman automatically becomes tank. Some people donāt understand that Tanking and Luring are two different things.
Iād really like to see the Swashbuckling skill be moved to the Swordsman tree, so thereād be no discrimination for non-Pelt swordsman just because they donāt have Swashbuckling.
Actually I would like to see more variation of luring instead of moving swashbuckling out of pelt.
For example, we already have warcry and jolly roger as pseudo lure. We can add more to that, like make swashbuckling emphasize on the +%HP attribute while other increase def, attack, evasion etc.

That would actually work as well. As long as we have other ways of generating mass aggro, Iāll be fine with it.
I have the exact same experience. I get a lot of compliments when doing dungeons or boss rush.
Iāve actually been saying the same thing for a while. Itās obviously completely core to the swordsmanās class identity at this point - thereās a reason the provoke bonus attribute is part of the base swordsman class.
However, Peltasta would need some considerable buffs in exchange; which, frankly, they need anyway, because Peltasta is just Swashbuckling: The Class right now.
give them highlanders cross-guard and call it a day
Just replace their Swashbuckling with another defensive buff. Probably one for magic. Even just an increase in magic def. 'Cause other than Slithering, Swordsman are lacking protection against magic, which is undoubtedly our greatest weakness.
