The explanations about how mechanics work

i would like the game to show, on mouse-over of skills, the explanation of “damage of this skill will be [relevant damage stat value from player] + [current damage of skill], in total [total of the two values]”

also, ideally as a gif, a demonstration of the what the usage of this skill would look like so the player knows whether it’s a charge skill (with charge time listed) or instant use, enemy target or ground target, as well as whether it hits ground, air, or both.

any dev that says “we don’t want to overload the player with too much information” should not be involved with making a game. whether someone gets overwhelmed with information or not isn’t dependent on how much is presented at one time, it’s dependent on how well the presentation of information is constructed.

when you mouse over the plus to increase a skill, it should show how the skill will change from the current level-up, as well as showing what the max level of the skill, and the rate of increase is.

A lot of improvement is possible just using a custom translation, which could eventually be merged if players found it helpful and IMC agreed. Worth noting that skills already display the change from current level to next when hovering.

Edit: Strangely enough, I’ve discovered that Reflect Shield does indeed actually display the total including stat scaling. I wonder why other skills do not.

i am assuming, it’s planned but not done… seeing as this is a closed beta… but then they have stat and skill resets available for real money which worries me…

i have this paranoia “oh they are selling a reset for cash, and their stuff is purposefully obtuse to force people to make mistakes with skills and stats”.

bad fremium games did that and now i am gun-shy.
