The Current State of PvP is Disgustingly Bad

I don’t think Capture the Flag would work with Haste Cata wind runner penguins. But domination(node capture) would work very well.

They could force dismount when carrying the flag, or cap your speed at, let’s say, 40 movespeed.

King of the Hill would be fun too.

Yeah that could work.

Anything that doesn’t involve spawnkilling or just 1 life would be great.

Wow, PvP just got so much worse now.

Why dont just allow secondary effects (+ elemental damage, mov speed and whatnot), and not base stats + refinement like before?

They just broke even more diversity and gave even more reason for full CON builds…

RIP swordsman.

The +20% stun chance boost in restrain wasn’t even enough to compensate for the damage that archers and wizes can actually dish with decent, fully in-effect gear.

Apparently Rush has been doing double it’s intended damage before so it got nerfed.

Then there’s the card system where both wiz (chapparition) and archers (t.shooter) have easy-to-acquire cards (ones they probably already have tons of) that are just perfect for them. Stronger dark theurge. Perma-silencing running shot. Astronomical snipes. As if broadhead was’nt already dealing a f*ckton per tick before the changes.

Meanwhile, swordsmen are still clueless as to where to find more Minotaur and Reaverpede cards (likely in some fedi missions) since quests no longer provides.

How low do we have to go?

All the swordies complaining, try playing Rogue 3 at TBL, now that’s hardo modo.

Backstab is almost impossible to hit on people that know you’re there(they won’t stop moving) and still does less damage than any Musketeer/Fletcher/Canoneer skill, even when hitting from the back with Karacha…

Wizards have all the stuff that render you useless(sub-zero shield,theurge simply means,no backstabbing)

If you go the Burrowing route your team will simply bring the fight away from you,making you waste that 70 sec CD

Sure, you have the same problems as sworsdmen do, but not all archers are Rogue3. Meanwhile, all swordsman are goddamn melee classes.

Also, for your backstab problem:

Werewolf Card : [Card Slot Equip] When attacking there’s a [★]% chance your attack will be judged as attacking from behind.

Also, I presume you have Cloaking from Scout. It’s either you have a guildmate on the other team (they will definitely see you even when cloaked), or you’re being too predictable w/ your positioning - or just like standing near CCs that you always get caught.

Nope,after being 1-2 shot by backstab once anyone with a brain will start never stop moving, it’s just a natural good practice on any competitive game.

The Werewolf cards will make things just slightly less awful. Also, having to equip a bunch of Werewolf cards simply means i won’t have other cards available.

Now compare this to simple point and kill skills, like the ones from all other rank5+ archers and you’ll see how dramatic this ■■■■ is for Rogues.

You play Cata rite? You’re like the izy modo of Swordie tree.

One of the biggest reasons WIzards are so damn strong is that they barely have to aim their skills to make a huge effect on the field,that’s why the only “dangerous” swordie skills are Cyclone/Rush/Pouncing

If a skill is small circle hitbox based(backstab,most swordman skills) people can make you miss by never stop moving/using mounts also forces the “position bug skill jamming”

If you think about it,the simplest way to win at PVE is also the simplest way for PVP,go crazy cheap classes with easy AoE.

So who’s complaining more than swordsmen now? It’s something wrong with your build, not the archer tree.

It’s been known that most, if not all, Rogue3 builds are more 1v1-oriented and have low survivality (which is contrary to what 5v5 needs) unless you’re really good with it. WarRock probably rolled into a different archer build now, or a wiz/cleric.

Meanwhile, the whole f*cking swordsman tree is badly affected by these changes.

Oh sure, rank 5 skills being unbelievably stronger than the full kit of a C3 rank 5 class is totally a problem of my build, not shitty balance design at all.

P.s: I guess you got my first post wrong, i don’t have a swordie for TBL i’m giving feedback with the closest thing. Also, Cata is lightyears above other swordies just because of area coverage of rush(maybe the only thing swordie has that can rival WIzard, if only for a brief time).

Yes, I agree melees suck. Swordsman are all melees.

If you think Cata is easy, try rolling one and ranking up in TBL 5v5. Stop saying things you’re clueless about.

Still the easiest and only swordie that can compete on TBL.

Pretty much everything counts now in tbl, upgrades, effect, etc
