The Current Monk feels Undewhelming

To be honest that’s the story of this thread in a nutshell. Admittedly my English isn’t perfect I’m dyslexic, but it’s leagues better than his.

Nah bro, Monk is supposed to be a DPS and when further DPS clerics come out (maybe Lama) they will add onto Monks and make them a powerhouse.

Sir, I’m not sure what you have been smoking on but clearly Monk is already OP enough to solo everything as it is.

Also, your statements and suggestions are mainly focusing C1 Monk. Try to level up and get into C3. That will change your mind.

The only reason Monk feels underwhelming and somewhat weak. Is because you’re bringing fisticuffs to a multiple array of bladed weapons, magical spells and ranged equipment fight.

Also no, your kamehameha won’t be as good as Goku’s.

I never said you need to 100% it, mines at rank 15 & 40% an it cost a few hundred thousand silvers. At that it’s already 5 times stronger than my normal attack.

Did you please red the Problems with certain skills, and the bugs they have? (I feel like i’m talking to a Brickwall here, but fortunately there are some open minded souls, who can read my suggestions, and can actually understand what ā€œBugfixesā€ means) You sir seems to me: totally ignored my suggestions about the lacking Range on the Monks skills, as the Priest is allready a Single target Character, we Want the Monk to be AOE focused Character, that’s why i’m shouting out for a Range Increase on the Handknife, and to have atleast Auto atack Range for the Double Punch, the damage seems all right, i wasn’t talking about the burst damage. I was talking about the scaling of the Bleed DoT Effect: make it Scale From the Actual Damage of the Palm Strikes’ Hit. It’s simple as that: you hit hard, you get high Bleed dot on the monsters as Puncture, if you crit with the Palm Strike, you get even higher Bleed dot Damage on the enemy, Simple, effective, as a matter of course it would be better than the current state of the Skill. It allso Bugs right now, if you happened to discover this bug:Palm Strike does NOT applies Bleed Dot on Every enemy hit by it. Why isn’t this fixed yet? Where are the Devs correcting theese mistakes, bugs and glitchez? Where are you to Read the rest of the Topic? Did you red the Problems and the lacking Informations about the Deprotected zone? Where the Enhancement of Deprotected Zone Shows up exept at the Cleric master (or Submaster) where you can learn the enhancement?

C3 Monk 253 lvl I don’t agre witch u monks lack more skills u cant even use palm strike and hand knife in pve because of knock back they need pasiw that turn it off, no mention u berly can hit 3 monsters with this skilks its a joke. I dont want to increase aoe ratio in this skills but a range so u can hit something.

Im sorry do you still play tos? um i just want to know how did you finish the monk c3 quest im currently stucked, i mean did you really kill 1000 monster in 20 mins? just askin.

Yup, back before Free-to-play release… there aren’t many players on the server and that is why most people were be able to complete the advancement quest. To be honest, this quest need to be rework.

is this quest can be done in party?

Not entirely sure, but hopefully someone out there can fill this in.

Just go to a map where there are monsters with the same level you are. the ā€˜Kill 1000 Monsters’ doesn’t mean 1:1 Kills, When I took that quest I remember some monster gave me 20 points per kill.

just go hunt the turles nearby… it worked for me and it is not actually killing 1000 mob each mob gave different kiling point… hope this may help :sunglasses:
