Each player who gets stam should get a chance at essence. It would have been far better to encourage people to work together rather than face off.

But you know typical IMC decision.

i do not know why this hate about the event not allowing people doing party.
this event is so easy and there is not really any thing difficulty about it that would require party.
i myself got 50 essence even before my buff i brought on town went to the 50 minutes mark.
there is many maps that can spawn up to 30-50 crystals in one minute, you just need to search, in my case there was so many crystals that i just select a random place and i keep running in circle on 3 different spots, i was not even using 30% of the map to get 50 essence.

its not about difficulty its about a missed opportunity to encourage people to play together which sadly this game is bad at encouraging.

Its not a big deal just a minor gripe i have.

i will be true with you, iā€™m in all favor to playing together, but we need to be frank as well, killing tree root is not a opportunity for it, is just plain lazy if someone want to party for it.
not every content must be done in party but as well not every thing should be done solo too.
and for me this event is more a solo thing, for many things but the most important is:
the correct number is random.
once you collect enough essence in a party and went to trade if you select the right number, and your friend the wrong one?
you will go back to help? , i can say that many people who is doing with friends may go back, but the ones doing with random party will not, so this will force the dude who is alone to search for a new party as well, will just snow ball in problems and time will be lost as well, so making the event a solo difficulty and without the need of a party to speed things up will be easier for everyone and will create fair less problems in the long run.

Use my guide to farm crystals.
I recommend nuoridin falls, you may travel through Stele Road (has warp statue) to go to Nuoridin Falls. The bottom right part is safe for lowbies too.

In 30 min you will farm a sufficient amount for the whole event, however I have movespeed bonus + ranged, and saved those quests at nuoridin to travel the map quicker:

Any other map I listed is OK too. However nuoridin is quickest. Channel hop for max efficiency.

Itā€™ll be too stressful (for a lot of people) to actively hunt the Tree Root Crystals.

Instead, just play like normal.

I secured all 400+ of my Root Essence(s) just by playing for 4 hours under normal circumstances (just questing).

I intend to collect everything under 1 character so Iā€™m basically set.

You only need 3 to 4 (15 to 20 essences) to get the reward for the day.

Always start by guessing #5, then pay attention to what it says (lower/higher), then go #3 if lower, #8 if higher. then just guess in between after.

5 -> lower -> 3 -> lower -> 2 else 1
5 -> lower -> 3 -> higher -> 4
5 -> higher -> 8 -> higher -> 9 else 10
5 -> higher -> 8 -> lower -> 7 else 6

So easy.

This would have been a completely different story if the max stack was 5 though :stuck_out_tongue: (thank goodness itā€™s not)

Ive just been doing quests and breaking the crystals along the way. Already have 110 of them. No need to farm them unless your at cap and have no quests i guess.
