The cancer of 315 Orange Recipe/Weapon

So I spent over a month farming for the necessary materials for the 315 orange bow. Finally finished because I had the help of a friend for the last 2-3 weeks (linker/chrono). We literally farmed more than 8-10 hours a day, every single day for the last 2-3 weeks. (Screenshot below for proof)

Well… I’m not about to spend another couple of months playing the RNG game just to try to get the 315 orange recipe. Here’s the list of RNG you have to go through:

  1. Kill 290 boss, open the cube and get purple recipes.
  2. Kill mobs in 290 dungeon to get Artiloniums and Paper Cube Recipes (both at about 5% drop rate per my estimation)
  3. Craft the Paper Cube when you have the correct amount of purple recipes that corresponds to the correct paper cube. Paper Cube Recipe : Xbow = 5 purple xbow recipes + 2 artiloniums to craft the cube.
  4. Open the cube and pray you don’t get a white, blue, or purple recipe because you can.
  5. Pray that when you do get an Orange recipe, it’s the weapon you want.

Somebody else can do the math, but I’m pretty sure it’s less than a .05% chance to get the recipe you want if you calculate all the layers of RNG you have to go through.

Per monster? By far not for Artilonium. Killed hundreds of Vilkas and have yet to get one. X)

But well played getting the Astra Mats, that’s some real cancer.

not sure about artilonium, but paper cubes 5% is pretty high given the amount of monsters there, I saw a solo clear and the guy gets 5-6 paper cubes in one run.
getting the cubes and making them is easy

Probably still much easier than getting MVP Cards in RO.
I usually see at least one Artilonium per run and party.

I’m getting an average of 1 paper cube recipe per run and it’s not the correct one I need. I never did the top boss so that means any paper cube recipe that requires the purple recipe from top boss is useless to me.

is paper cube untradable like virtov in the past? if it is tradable then you better start farming silver if you don’t want to battle with RNG. Semeday someone will sell bow paper cube/astra bow recipe in the market.

Its not the 315 orange weapons, but the game itself is the cancer.
Tree of RNG etc at its best :sparkles:

5 paper cubes opened, rerolled 3 of the cubes cause I didn’t know you could reroll on 1st two cubes I opened. 500k each reroll.

11 tries = 3 white recipes, 6 blue recipes, 2 purple recipes

Uhhhh yeah.

imo don’t reroll. plenty of people will be trying to get the recipes and so I am sure everyone can find someone to trade with. it has only been a few hours. don’t give up :stuck_out_tongue:

i got trash recipes from my first cube (with 2 rerolls) too.
1 spellbreaker (purple)
2x vienie musket (blue)

i thought, its a guaranteed orange recipe from those cubes

IMHO is worth the reroll since you need to spend 2x Artilonium on them.
Any1 got so far an orange recipe from the boxes?

Mh, given the amount of materials needed for the weapons themselves, i would have thought the recipe wasn’t rng-based at least. That’s rather annoying.

It would be too easy given the number of alt chars some people have at lvl 290+。 Everything else from cubes is also RNG so be happy that it’s at least easy and not some cash grab like Those cash cubes to have decent gear…

The funniest part is, you past through all of this to get the recipe, materials and u craft the weapon. 1 week later Rank 9 releases and R.I.P :smiley:

Take your time killing the boss, longer much better. Open the cube immidiately after killing the boss. May take a week to a month. BE PATIENT and someday you will get it. Might not work, It is RNG. Good luck. :sunglasses:

Depending of the recipes some 330 are clearly easier to farm if not meta builds.
