Has there been any word on a report function getting developed? Like a legitimate report function that cannot be abused by trolls and whatnot.
I figured i would put this in general discussion for more visibility, and i wanted to see what people think of the current state of the amount of bots and goldsellers we’re seeing. I recently started an alt, who has seen no less than 20 bots before Crystal Mines, and from what i see, their progress in the game is slow, but i see them slowly spreading over to higher leveled maps, slowly but surely as i level. There is no way i have found to deter them. Party requests have no seemed to work, the Like function that changes their pose does not lock them in that position (thank god, otherwise that would also be exploitable on normal players too come to think of it), Ice wall doesn’t nudge them away… So. I’m out of ideas.
This should be applicable for chat AND open world - as in the reports should be able to cover the following :
- Harassment.
- Botting.
- Goldselling.
- Bug exploitation.
- Scamming. (Maybe not, because honestly 70% of the scams i hear about are just people being really, really gullible.)
Any thoughts?
I understand IMC is doing their best to resolve current issues, and just wanted to bring this bit up because it’s probably best to stamp out these issues at the start. As of now i fear what the game will be when we go for the full F2P launch. Imagine the amount of botters we’ll have then when you can make multiple accounts.
