The Bonus Season event that is going on right now is really great, but I just wanted to point out that there is an annoying inconvenience with how it fits into the timing of things.
When you do unique raids you get back raid portal stones, and that sounds really nice since if you do all four unique raids on difference characters the runs effectively pay for themselves. This resets at 12 AM EST, so after 12 AM you are allowed to receive raid portal stones again.
When you run the same unique raid multiple times per day on the same character, the cost goes up by +1 per run. This resets at 6 AM EST, the same time as the dungeon reset.
The event reset and the dungeon reset times do not line up, creating a 6-hour window where it feels bad to do unique raids. If you do a unique raid between 12 AM and 6 AM you receive the event raid portal stones, but then if you run again before 12 AM the next day then you will not receive raid portal stones back. Effectively, if you want the event “to pay for itself” you either have to do all of your runs inside the 6-hour window every day or outside of it every day.
Really, it’s a minor inconvenience but it’s annoying needing to think a little bit extra about how to plan one’s dungeon runs when getting your groups of friends together is already rather challenging.
