The behavior of IMC has shown they can’t be trusted with IToS, I am not talking about with the founder packs or P2W in particular, I am talking about the keeping us in the dark & betrayals. If we go along with their decisions at the start people will in the future or abandon the game, the IToS community would have no voice. They could improve KToS until its perfect while leaving IToS subpar and under bad management. We have to remember korean game owners can treat foreign versions like trash and only focus on their mainland. All I am saying is they really may not care about you or me, any of us, how much we spend on the game won’t change that. Fighting each other only harms IToS! We all want it to become a great successful game that everyone can enjoy. What we should do now is get them to make our version not have the negatives of KToS + our own new ones, instead shape IToS into how the majority of us want it. If we can’t IToS is bound to be a lot worse than KToS. Worst case scenario a year from now our version could end up in a depressing state, 4/5 of us founders of ToS will probably have quitted not having realized we gave up our control and influence over IToS. What if they make decisions no one likes in the early access and won’t listen to us even if all of us agree since they already got the money and can expect more players with the free launch?
We need to make sure this is actually our game before supporting it only to be ignored later on in the games life when we really can’t make a difference cause there would be few left willing to. If people throw millions of dollars to IMC they won’t care to make the changes we want to our version, one thing we know they can’t ignore is income. They will seek explanations from our staff members and make compromises. If people keep accepting the bad behavior they will become abused and show they won’t stand up for what they want, we won’t have a say in what IToS becomes. All avid gamers have seen it happen. This is owned by koreans, they haven’t done anything to show us they truly care about foreign lands and what we want for our tree of saviors. They might as well just be after money to make their main version succeed don’t forget the community did the translations not them, we all wanted a ToS to play and thought IMC were more than capable of making all the decisions themselves. We were wrong, I was wrong… I used to whiteknight IMC for everything more than anyone else out there.

I remember reading countless post about how IToS would be so much better than KToS… does it look that way now? If not, ask yourself why. The answer is simple, we aren’t on the radar, we have no backbone as a community, they came to us, telling everyone multiple times of how this game isn’t going to be P2W, how the open beta will be soon… and then they do this and we have the nerve to ignore all their lying and get mad at whoever of us won’t buy the founder packs. They promised us so much and lied, it was all a trick and people get mad when I say we fell for it, cause that would make IMC no different from all other gaming businesses…
We’re in a critical position here and only have 2 options “to pay or not to pay” Their quietness makes this 100x worse, the game is bug ridden, full of exploits that make it a lot less enjoyable. I know all of this from avidly playing first 2 betas and striving to enjoy every second of it. Do we really want to give them money not knowing if they will actually listen to us and fix the majority of our problems? If they don’t do it now that’s to say they never will. Do we really want ToS to be a game we get entertainment from for a couple weeks and then move onto next big fancy hyped MMORPG? If we can’t get what we want it shows the people in charge only care about making money from abusing our dedication/love/loyalty to ToS. I understand how much everybody here wants to play ToS, I shared these feelings before I played the first 2 betas, but I guarantee you it will all turn into huge regret later if nothing changes.
All the proof we need is right here in front of us. After flooding the forum for over a day we’ve gotten no messages from IMC on dev blog or from forum staff quoting them, no apology, no justification “Hey all of our fans, we did this for x and y” what does that tell us? They don’t care about what their decisions do to our community and their fans relationships, we have to stop ignoring the bigger picture with all of this. They don’t even look at our forums, the forum staff members don’t even look at our topics of free will, we have to summon them and even then we’re all so estranged at this point they couldn’t write normal human-human non "official announcement” replies to us if they tried.
Instead of cool looking skill effects and costumes to spend $100s it seems a good 40% of us want to destroy the original image of ToS and highly fragment all of its followers with their $50 3 month $30 2 month $20 1 month founder system. I can’t agree with that. What I want doesn’t matter though, the majority don’t want the founder system or pricing they announced yesterday. The community doesn’t want to support a game that had so much potential/hope/hype. They’ve killed many players hype, the only way to fix this is if we start taking control of IToS as one community, if 51% of us want to change a decision, all of us should.
TLDR:
Dividing ourselves is the worst thing we can do! If we all want to be happy we all have to come together and agree on having more of a say in the big decisions of our versions of ToS. They’ve shown they really don’t care about us and will do anything to keep up their " Different than all other MMORPGS, we’re really great & innocent " image. We have to make them start doing what we want now at the beginning of the games life. This is the only way we can ensure IToS ends up how most of us want it.
