Hey there! I’m planning to make a Corsair, i saw a lot of builds with Swordsman C2 > Barbarian C2 > Corsair C2, i was thinking if i can take another way, like… Swordsman C1 > Peltasta C1 > Hoplite C2 > Corsair C2 or anything like that. Which class is the best one to Corsair and why?
You can’t use a shield with Hexen Dropper and also Dust Devil. They are both Corsair skills.
You need Barbarian for Cleave, Warcry, and also Frenzy as well.
Swordsman C2 allows you to have Level 10 Gung Ho and Concentrate. If you had Level 10 Gung Ho with it’s attribute maxed out, you’re able to have bonus 85 physical damage. If we do the same with Concentrate, you’ll have a bonus of 119 additional damage to your attacks. Both combined create a sum of 204.
You’ll also most likely want Swordsman C2 for Restrain’s stun or either Pommel Beat that deals more damage against small-medium sized targets which are common.
Edit: Helm Chopper and Seism in Barbarian also both can stun when possible.
It’s possible to go Hoplite depending on how you want your char to spec it. Hoplite has an advantage on bosses due majority of them being large sized, which means Spear can do more damage on those bosses. You can easily see 500+ damage per normal attack using Hoplite and get a lower amount when using 2H Sword against a same boss. But I really recommend going Highlander than Peltasta at this point of the game. Just gotta exploit the brokenness of a class since it’s beta, right? lol

And how this skill works? Is the immobilization of the enemy longer than the spin animation?
How come Barbarian C2 is better than Highlander C2 for a Corsair build?
