The archer animation is slow. The arrow appear AFTER the bow put down

Hi,

My current location is Singapore and I am using fiber internet with 200ms latency to US server.
The archer animation somehow a bit off. What I mean is, the arrow only appear and release AFTER the character put down his/her bow.
By right, the arrow should be appear and release when the bow string released.

Yes, its because you are playing with a ping disadvantage. Many people say, you shouldn’t play an archer if you have ping issues! =]

P.S. If you are going to argue that games shouldn’t have characters that get affected that heavily by ping, well… live with it because pretty much every game/most games have that issue!

EDIT: Oh btw there is no real fix to it, only thing is to use a VPN and route it to US server to minimize your ping as much as possible. Or just play another class where its not as noticible.

Ignore part of what vitadrink said, also, if ping is giving you disadvantage, you could try to play in party with other players.

Sometimes I have the same issue too with my archer, and others my char shows the shooting animation twice before shooting an arrow (rare), but to make you feel a bit better, my archer only died at level 77 against a worm boss that you will surelly face (or have faced already), so the impact in the gameplay is not really huge, at least if you understud how to play with it.

That’s delay alright …It’s quite normal for that to happen if you have high latency issue
For example, me. I’m playing from SEA, I do have that problem if I play without pingzapper/wtfast.

I don’t believe it’s a ping problem.

First, because it happens at 150 and 400 ping. No bigger or smaller delay.
Second, because it happens while walking but does not happen if you stop at a place and shoot.

The delay only happen if there’s a packet loss …if your ping is high …but not too much packet loss, most likely you wont get any problem such as this.

how can you explain that it happens at 150ms while walking but there is no delay at 400ms if stopped?

EDIT: you can see the same half animation happening when you start moving with pingzapper. That’s the problem.
Of course high ping can cause delay in everything, but even at low ping there’s a small glitch in the first basic atack when you are walking.

Is the pingzapper a software?
