Hello, i just started ToS recently and i tried out this mod, https://github.com/Excrulon/Tree-of-Savior-Lua-Mods
After i download it and follow the steps stated, put add on in ToS folder in steam app, then put the sumani.ipf in data folder… when i launch the game, at the launcher it says ‘‘fail to update, please restart the game’’ i was wondering why? Because yesterday, i’m still playing ToS with no problem at all after i tried the MOD.
EDIT: Well, i guess it doesn’t matters anymore, even i uninstall the mod the error still pops out… in the end i have to RE-download the whole game again
Did you manually put the sumani.ipf file in? You may have had made duplicate files, which is what caused your game to freak out. It should automatically update the sumani.ipf file, you basically dont have to touch it except to delete it/check if its there.
yeah, i did manually put it in and replace it in the data folder tho.
EDIT: when i launch ToS, in my task bar there is a program keep appear and disappear, than it pop out the fail to update error.
I think u did something wrong.
All you need to do is open the zip file for the addon and extract the whole thing into your main TOS folder. And when it asks to replace file just click yes. Simple
