Hauk, I lol’d. Careful now though. Might confuse players looking to get into the game. They may see this and actually give it a try! :stuck_out_tongue:

i actually do intend to get more people to play TOS

u cant hate imc if you dont love tos…

its complicated…

Actually why not? The game sure has its quirks every now and then, but if we map out the things done and implemented over on a timeline it is actually progressing well.

Sometimes I do feel that we are actually demanding too much and aren’t patient enough for the updates.

Lol w/o diving to much into it. I don’t care for a lot of things IMC does, or doesn’t do, but I do love TOS and would hate to see it go under. (Although I honestly don’t think that’ll happen for a long while. As I’ve stated in previous threads, IMC never intended to have a big player base.)[quote=“Nekorin, post:4, topic:333744, full:true”]

This was more of a snarky comment towards Hauk as he isn’t usually exactly newbie friendly when it comes to the game. Not that hates TOS, but he is leader of the Hue-brigade. :stuck_out_tongue:

@haukinyau1
THIS GAME SUX.
STOP GIVING IMC MONEY
GACHA IS A TERRIBLE IDEA
RNG IS GARBAGE
IMC SHOULD GIVE US FREE TP TO BUY THEIR STUFF

Considering I have 13 Alts with 12 of them being 200+ I very much know what it’s like to be in the lowbie areas. There is no explanation you need to tell me about.

Edit: This isn’t really a positive thread, more so a Hue-Thread btw~ :stuck_out_tongue:

@kopzaxx Pretty much right. The bots have maybe annoyed me once or twice through all my alts. They’re a non-factor.

Bought 10 costumes from the market just in case this patch turns costume price crazy. As long I don’t have to buy costume, this patch has nothing to do with me. As a nice and helpful player, I should support IMC to make sure the tree properly burn to the root<3

This thread needs some:

Bump Knight

Fluffy Bump````````

i think one of the reason why im a successful hueknight (lol self-proclaim) is because i understand whiteknightes fertilizers’ standpoint n arguement

despite alot of bad decissions/move by imc, and i have to agree to neko-rin~
we give credits to where its due

we only have so much hate because of the let down/dissapointment

but if we look at it from imc’s perspective, its still business after all.

TOS is okay so far, but this is as far as it can be…

we already foresee TOS becoming p2w/rng since april

if we still playing TOS now, we might as well accept all the truth about the game

love tos, play it
hate tos, quit it

i quit but i still love tos…
just like a bad breakup…

I agree with most of what you said. P2W is all perspective. So it’s subjective. I think any MMO should have something that requires you to at least spend 10$ a month, or more importantly want to spend the money on. People often use Whales as a bad thing, and in a way it is, BUT if not for people spending money, the game would be shelved. If someone wishes to truly play the game w/o ever spending a dime to support said game, then I have really no respect for them. I know, that sounds controversal.

There’s two sides to the coin. The Whales, who spend lots of money and the F2P’ers that cry P2W at anything remotely close to making them feel they have to spend a few bucks. I’m in between. So far, I have yet to find anything on the TP shop I must have. But I have no issue buying stuff to support the company. shrug

(This includes the new Gacha boxes.)

Edit: I feel this way, because this is the first F2P game I have ever stuck with. I generally do not like F2P games nor their community. However, I enjoy TOS enough that in most cases I’ll put up with this horridly immature community and just endure while trying to remain quasi neutral.

Edit #2: For those waiting Lost Ark and Revelation Online. These two games, specially the latter are highly P2W. (I have experience with the latter)

Timeline of major IMC updates for iToS

  • End.Mar 2016 - Early Access servers
  • Ear.Apr 2016 - Additional servers to cater for regional (SA and EU)
  • End.Apr 2016 - Additional server(s) to cater for regional (SEA)
  • Ear.May 2016 - Transition to Free to Play, transfer of accounts to servers
  • End.May 2016 - Introduction to TP shop and premium costumes
  • End.Jul 2016 - Team Battle League, Guild Battle additions
  • Mid.Aug 2016 - Transcendence System, Uphill and additional content updates
  • Mid.Oct 2016 - Rank 8 major patch, new content
  • End.Oct 2016 - TP shop changes

Sometimes we just have to layout things like this, then everyone will see how far we have gotten since the game started in late Mar. Personally from the looks of it, we are already quite fast in terms of updates as compared to a number of other games.

Sure there are many issues like class balancing, content balancing etc, but these do take time to gather enough statistics, research and then implement them. For now from what we see, IMC stance is probably to get iToS as close as possible to kToS first then balance everything together at once.

I just don’t know much about the thoughts of the majority in the forums here. On one hand we are complaining about iToS not being close to kToS in terms of updates and we want them to be the same. On the other we are complaining about implementations of things which are implemented in kToS (Gachapon). Facepalm.

well the Gachapon version that we were expecting was ktos version which were headgears and some items. but suddenly when they are going to bring the system here in itos, costumes became included. idk but that says alot what they think about us and that is majorly the source of the complaints.

just look at how they handle ktos and jtos. idk, it just became too frustrating. at least for me.

Perhaps this is how it goes without having a publisher’s financial backing. Sure there will be some differences in terms of the publisher backed kToS/jToS vs self-published iToS. We have to pay for the running of the servers + have something that makes gives IMC a profit in order for them to look at us.

Guess we have to look at the gachapon changes after the maintenance to decide. Given translation issues (based on content and previous patch notes experiences) the implementation might not be as bad as we imagine it to be…lol. (Trying to stay positive haha)

Why’d people want new cosmetics anyway?

I cant find anything new that can make me excited to be honest. I thought the C3 costumes will still be available? They are not too bad if I have to say. Special costumes are just more colorful compare to C3.

Yes, love it when we have timelines like this. Shoot IMC for what is the problem, give credits to them when they do perform well.

How many appreciation threads do we have for them when they implement things which are good for the community? How many threads do we have complaining about the various issues? Like reduction of token tp cost, trying to get updates fast for us as compared to other korean games which have huge patch differences between korean and international versions.

There is just too much of a negative vibe over in the forums, and it is indirectly preventing this game from being/getting good too.
