I’ve never played RO or TOS and I’ve noticed while reading some threads there is some terminology people use that I don’t understand which is specific to said games. Is there a webpage or doc that lists all the terms, acronyms, etc. that is used exclusively in TOS that I can use for reference?
There is no list that I know of. If there are specific acronyms you need explained though, I am sure myself or someone else could help you.
A few basic ones that come to mind:
RO
WoE = war of emperium (a goal based GvG)
TOS
EA = Early Access
FP = Founder’s Pack
PD = Plague Doctor
…that’s all I got
Thank you! I want to know what the numbers mean in this for example: STR 1:1 DEX. I see this mostly in threads discussing class builds.
I also see: swordsman c2 > highlander c2 > barb c1 for example. I don’t know what cX means.
I’m trying to think of more acronyms and terms that I’ve read right now so I’ll update my post when I remember more! ^^
I have used…
(skills)
PP= Psychic Pressure
IW= Ice Wall
FB= Fire Balls
it’s the stats distribution
like 1 point on STR and 1 point on DEX every time you get a stat point…
1-1 means keeping them even by giving 1 point to each equally
Oh i see. Thank you!
C2 = circle 2. You can progress in a class till circle 3 if you want.

To add to this;
“circle” refers to the number of times you have taken the same class.
So, in your example: swordsman c2 > highlander c2 > barb c1
It can actually be expanded to: swordsman c1 -> swordsman c2 -> highlander c1 -> highlander c2 -> barb c1
Which would be the actually classes you would need to take, in that order, for that build. Swordsman twice, then highlander twice, then barb once. Sometimes it is just easier to not list the first few circles of a class if you are taking them all in a row.
Also u can take sword c1 > highlander c1 > sword c2 > highlander c2 > barb c 1…
Dont need to be consecutively, just need to be able to get that class in that rank.
Since there is 2 classes to choose from per rank (rank 1-7) if I for example decide to level up swordsman c3 -> highlander c3 would I no longer have the option to advance another class since I’ve reached what I assume is the level cap once I’ve reached c3 in highlander? (I won’t actually do this for my own character progression.)
you can always go back to previous ranks and select another class as substitute to the new rank…
EDIT: Also, if you already have the class, you open a new circle if you select the same class again
