Templar Tank build help

Class and Rank Swordsman

So, I’m an old school gamer, I love tanks. I know tanking in this is different than I’m used to. That being said I still love feeling like a tank. I’ve done some searching and some looking. I’m still pretty low level, but I want some opinions on my choices.

Currently I’m Swordsman > P2.

My original route was Swordsman > Peltasta 3 > Squire 2 > Templar.

But now I’m thinking of Roldelero 2 instead of the Squire.

I’m hearing a lot about Pel 2-3 aren’t really needed, and I could have chosen other things, like Cataphract, but at this point I’ve done to much to want to start him over so thats out of the question.

I guess my intentions would be to be a guildmaster, yet still an efficient tank. I usually duo play with a friend who focused on dps, so that’s no worry for me, but I still tend to put some points into str. So far I’ve mostly dumped con, but for a while I was 4:1 Con:Str. Am I just screwing myself over as I go, or is everything still viable?

So is it worth taking P3 or should I choose something else to follow like Rod2 > Cata1 > Temp?

I feel like if I take Rod I might as well take it to circle 2 for slithering or not take it at all. So that leaves me with either a cata or squire 1 before temp. What would you say is the better of the two, or should I take P3 for higher Swash?
