I’m going Templar and I took a very classic build for this from the beginning.
Pelt 3 Sq 2 Tem 1
I am actually Squire 1 and wondering if Squire 2 is really worth in this build. What is your opinions ? What are your suggestions on wich class to take instead of Sq 2 ?
Before you ask, I’m wondering about Sq 2 because i’ve read that the sp/hp are useless at Sq 2 but really good at Sq3.
My stats are 4 con 3str (I’ll probably stop str at 100).
Any advice ???
Bumping, I would like more information on the Templar class in general as well.

This is A very afk approach to Templar.
For PvP or GvG people go
Pelt1-HOP1-Cata3-templar. (mobile recaller as how I call it)
Isn’t sq2 a good approach for pve ? At Earth tower for example ?
In a first time I didn’t saw the templar as a gvg player the recall is not strong enough imo on large scale battles, so I basically prefer having a pure gvg build in another character and keep the templar for helping guildmates into pve and making offline silvers for the guild bills.
If you think this is wrong please tell me.
It is a totally viable approach. It is all in style that you prefer. No one knows how templar will play out in 10 ranks it is just speculation. But I would imagine 15 man recall ain’t gonna be bad
I see, I didn’t took this parameter into consideration so maybe Templar could be a really key component for gvg… hmm I think I may reroll for the cata build and turn the current char into a full sq money maker.

Is Cata or Squire the only viable pre-Templar builds? I’m Sw2>Barb2>Corsair and thinking of maybe going Templar at Rank 7 (either that or Fencer).
Swordies are bad at pvp globaly. That’s why most Templar choose a support build (for the cata the aim is to move really fast to recall guildmate at certain positions)
I realize that, but I’m hopeful for buffs in the future. Also Corsair has some use in PvP with Iron Hook… that’s ‘some’ use…
