Telsiai Is Using 2 Servers Now On 2 Different Region?

I need other Telsiai players to confirm this. The method is simple,

  1. Go to Nuorodin Falls.
  2. Check your ping on both Ch1 and Ch5.
  3. Check your ping on Ch2 to Ch4.

I’ll assume you’ll get decent ping on Ch1 and Ch5. While Ch2 to Ch4 ping feels like ping when it was still on East Coast.

Is this a low budget fix by IMC due to the overpopulation on Telsiai?

There are various tools out there to help you check what ip your connecting to, “feeling” it doesnt means its on east coast…

Sadly, I don’t know how to check the IPs.

Wireshark is a known tool for this type of things.
Though I’m scared every time I open it °°

This is really outside my field. I hope someone else does the checking.

This, is a better suggestion ^^’

raises white flag orz

Wait for it to render. also i’m from SG the flux is real.

and btw

LOL Im just thinking why the hell do I lag in this map, and I met this thread.

Thanks for the tests.

Somehow I’m still just getting high ping on Ch2-4 while it’s decent at Ch1 and Ch5. Your ping proves me otherwise though.

Seems like it’s really just server problems.

Anyways, googled some method to find out the game server’s IP I’m currently connected to.

Ch2 gave me this 104.16.59.5

Not sure if I checked properly though.

Mine was just totally unstable.

That IP is using port 443, which is HTTPS. I don’t know why the game is using it though.

From my observations, each area has a different IP address. I checked a few and they seem to be still located in SG. The only thing is that the ping is really unstable.

Oh thanks! /20charss

Also, pinging the server directly results in a stable ping.

For example, 52.77.117.95:7052 (Laukyme Swamp)

Using direct:

Using //ping command in-game:

There must be something going on within the game itself that causes the ping to spike like that. I suspect that it’s the bad netcode that this game has. Amazon’s EC2 Servers are working perfectly, so you can rule that out as one of the causes of unstable ping.

yep, same happens to everybody, so i kinda laugh when they say, o hey, we’re opening a new server for your region, please do a cmd to test your ping, after 24 hours maintenance, you login in new server and booom lag is worse even though your ping test was looking better.
