Tell me where IMC is, among all the others

I haven’t had much experience with video game companies like IMC.

If i take a handful of them, and if would sort them - from bad to good:
Konami (#f***Konami),
EA, Ubisoft, Zynga (all three negative),
Nexon, Sega, Nintendo, Microsoft, Activision (all five slightly negative),
Sony (neutral), Blizzard, Square Enix (slightly positive)
Valve, Bethesda, Atlus, Bioware (positive).

So, where is IMC in this?

We talking about just developers or publishers included now?

Valve >> Riot >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> EA > Capcom > Konami > IMC > Hello Games

Valve it’s about time to make that half life 3

@Batman Is one of the companies i mentioned exlusivly an publisher? I don’t think so, as far as i know.

@pandemonstrosity I didn’t know IMC made pachinkos.

Nexon is a publisher for most case unless namely a few mobile games?

Most of Nexon games are actually not nexon any way (bought over some renamed/rebranded)

Huh, looks like it. shrug Anyway, both developers and publishers.

So far to me IMC feels among the slightly negative lines. Well all along been similar since GE.

Well i think activision is only publishing if not mistaken. Anyhow that’s not the point, just asking because it wont be fair to compare publishers and developers and most of the time publishers control what they want customers to see.

Anyhow i think imc is an incompetent developing company, so slightly on the bad side. But they are pretty small and low budget i guess, so its not fair to compare them to valve blizzard and alike. Imc is a bad listener, they do however make some improvements very slowly… Like your complains today will receive proper attention next year

This post was flagged by the community and is temporarily hidden.

The fact that they’ve announced ToS as ‘Project R1’ way back in early 2011, make one think, ‘just what have been IMC doing in the 5years of development( 5+years if we count that ToS is what Ro was meant to be, from their perspective as it’s original developer)’.

RIP Westwood and Bullfrog. I always enjoyed the older Command and Conquer games and Dungeon Keeper.

In terms of managing a game? I would say it’s alongside Aeria and SOE/Daybreak games

Nexon is successful. IMC is the one killing TOS. Not only they are incompetant, the biggest problem is they dont try to change. They seem to have serious understaff issue probably due to staff sharing of multiple TOS regional servers but have so far it doesnt seems like they will try to change the situation.

Impress, Motivate, Connect
Impress and motivate not found in their actions. The game literally only connect. No sign of trying to improve.

imc is impress me with their “cool” attitude every week
motivate people to quit their own game
connecting us all in this forum to rage at them

Might be a bit random, but NeoElement, where do you consider OGPlanet to be compared to IMC? I didn’t see you list them, so I’m a tad curious. Well to be fair, I guess more like LT than the other games.

If i haven’t played LaTale, i wouldn’t have known them in the first place. But it is neutral.

EDIT: Well, more precisely, they are both neutral in my book, compared to everyone else.

IMC is the only company I’ve ever seen in my life think that they could open a game and monetize it’s in game premium currency through repeated purchases of expansion packs on Steam. There has yet to be a company so cheap, lazy, and incompetent to that point when even little private servers know how to open a Paypal shop on their website. There was a time when you couldn’t even buy TP on launch it was so stupid.

They also are amongst the few that I’ve seen absolutely destroy their player base in about a year’s time over simple things for no good reason. Trion and Niantic are up there on that platform for the bone headed things they’ve done. SquareEnix and Blizzard at least had the decency to fire people then apologize and create something from their messes where as this company will never do that.

One of the most infamous things though has been mentioned before by me and people is Nexon’s old Darkages. The company KRU that runs it now is on a level with IMC for complete stupidity and just lack of not caring for the community it once had. Except KRU still at least knew how to open a shop on their website. :stuck_out_tongue:
