Whenever I trade the recipe via team storage to the character (who didn’t encounter one until the storage trade), they wont show up in the craft menu until I put them on market and get them back via cancel. It seems like it gives some sort of journal update after that, but I’m pretty sure this shouldn’t be happening all together.

Please send us a support ticket with a screenshot regarding to this issue to be able to assist you further.
CaptainGrumpy no need to put it on the market, you just need to register it to the Adventure Journal by right clicking on it, that then will allow it to show up as a craft-able recipe.
