I think the current TBL arena is a bit of a waste. There is too much room for spectators seating but not enough people spectate. I know you’re working on options for team battle league spectating and I’m excited for that.
Suggestion 1: Instead of having the same one map, there should be different arenas/scenery. Maybe an orsha forest one with Goblins on the side cheering the battle (NPC extras), or a mage tower themed one with lava pits flowing upwards. Or have different layouts that change up the strategy.
E.g. The stages in Street Fighter have extras in the background cheering the matches and have a theme.
Suggestion 2: Spectating matches should be encouraged. You can give points for spectating (but less than actually participating), or maybe even have talt betting.
