When i play missions i have seen all kinds of builds。 granted, im only lv159 but i see no meta trend. Thats kind of scary, its like this game is balanced.
Definitely not balanced,but I’ve also seen more variety than others have let on.
My missions are mostly full of archers though.

Well the reasoning is that if a few builds are op then you would only see that. The amount of diversity i see for swordsman is insane in particular but ive seen everything for all classes.
Do most of them contain at least a Peltasta 1?
Mine does…
Sword C1 > Peltasta C1 > Hop C3 > Cata 1 > and hoping to get to Dragoon today or tomorrow~
Lol just because you have played missions or dungeons doesnt mean that any build would work, in that situations anything can work well. But were you must shine with a “meta” is what your “meta build” has been done for.
If you are a fletcher you should exceed another people doing damage against world boss but you wont shine against a elementalist trying to kill mobs for example.
So the meta depends in what is focused for, if you take corsair you would exceed people to make money farming but you wont have the greatest damage.
So if you want to have a clear vision where a meta build can show it real potential you must see it working in what the build for… not because you take the same time doing a dungeon or missions ._.

How is your build working out for you?
Actually really happy with it.Doing just fine solo questing on these 200+ maps,can hold aggro on bosses,and I do decent damage with Pierce and Stab only at level 20 [I just need to get more silver to dump into them atm].
I also rarely use Taunt,personally.I prefer my Catacombs Pike and a Spear Lunge–Pierce combo with Earth Wave.Circling enemies works just fine for the most part if I need to gather them and my HP is comfortable enough to not need the bonus.But that’s just me,I assume.

doesnt matter what they pick or what stats they put in
bcuz im a cleric, they dont die tht much for me. and i dont even need a swordie on my party for the same reason. so i only want me and 4 archers on my teams always
do a mission other than the first one the list that any class mix can do since its just blind facerolling.
Theres no meta in missions and dungeons that is true. But that doesnt mean there is nothing. You havent seen the whole world yet son.
