Quick question is possible and usefull to use a TANK in PVE (GROUP)???

And a swordsman tank??
You dont realy need a tank in this game.
And Et partys go with Cyro/chrono anyway.
Swash is useless against Mage/Archer mobbs.
A Cyro kann pull them together even the range mobbs.
In the end theres only the dps way for swordys.

Its more of a convenience than necessity, generaly speaking cryo 3 is better, but i wont say no to having both, excluding ET.
Hopefully it will be more necessary when they release r9 and increase the level cap
Like what shenhuehue said, there’s no need for tank in the game. But by definition best tank is peltasa, by actual usage cryo through CC.

The real tank you seek in common MMO game doesn’t apply here.
Although, if you mean to kite and CC mobs, peltasta C3 via swashbuckling to gather mobs, Cyro C3 to suck mobs via frost pillar and snow rrolling.
Let’s say you just want to gather mobs, in dungeons having peltasta C3 is extremely useful. Any AoE class will turn to Megumin ( if you know who she is assuming you know konosuba 
) Other than that, Not really.
Why you mix tanks and CC chars tho?
Tanks - characters who tank mobs/people with their face, i.e. can absorb the maximum ammount of damage without dying. In this terms pelt3hoplite3murmillo would be one of the best tanks in the whole game. 1000+ block + murm’s helmet + ~150k own hp pool make this char almost unkillable, especially with decent gear and RMT pots.
