Returning player currently mid game (160-ish). I was wondering why everyone wants talt ? Like is it used in higher level quests or maybe is it useful for crafting ? I see a lot of people wanting to trade very valuable stuff for it.
Talts are used as currency, like blessed shards. Otherwise they can be used to upgrade your guild level or selling in NPC for 5k.

Talt is used as currency because it drops so commonly from dungeons and has a stable value of at least 5k silver due to vendor price, and you can’t directly trade with silver. So if someone is trading 100 talt for something it’s basically like saying they’re buying something for 500k.
As for actual uses, Talt is used to level up guilds and can be fed to a gem for 100 xp (which isn’t recommended because that comes out to 50 silver per XP, which is considerably more expensive than the current market value of monster gems which are worth about 30-35 silver per XP)
