Hello everyone.

featherfoot in general is a bad class. its skills only work against certain types of enemies, the skills have high cooldowns, and the class as a whole needs at least 1 rank of linker to even KILL anything since all of its attacks are single target…

featherfoot c2 is arguably the worst rank 8 class in the game. levitation makes them 2x weak to ranged attacks, which is understandable… but the blood explosion attack consumes 60% OF THEIR HP!! and for what? well, with 10k hp and quick cast the attack does… 32k damage. yep. 32k damage for 60% of your hp. (featherfoot cant even step on heal tiles while flying, so if they get hit by a ranged attack, gg, they’re ded)

every other single class in the game is just able to fight an enemy as they all have aoes and attacks that don’t require setup. but not featherfoot, they have to joint penalty before they can even use one of their attacks…

this class also has literally no synergy with previous ranks. the only classes that are viable for it to take are wizard c3 and linker c3, as sorc scales with int, but featherfoot has to go full con in order to even do good damage…

guess how many attack skills wizarcd c3 + linker c3 (the only good featherfoot build has) ? guess how many? that build only has 1, magic missle, 2 blood bath, 3 blood sucking, 4 ngadhundi, 5 kundela slash, 6 blood explosion (which requires levitation and 60%+ hp)

thats right!!! 7/8 ranks just for 6 usable attacks… that all have relatively high cooldowns for their duration and power. at high leveled maps featherfoot has to wait 20+ seconds before just being able to kill at least 5 enemies, waiting for their cooldowns to finish, even though every other class has a good skill that is not on cooldown that is strong to kill enemies with.

featherfoot, as a melee mage, NEEDS at least wizard c2 in its build, since one of its strongest skill (that does 2k a hit for 10 hits…) is a chanelling melee skill that gets canceled with a blow of wind!!

every other single class in the game is able to just attack a monster normally, while featherfoot has to do so much complicated things beforehand. and it can’t even attack most enemies!!!

right now, featherfoot is one of if not the worst class in the game. no one even plays it because of how inconvenient it is to play and how weak it is in battle. there is literally no reason to play featherfoot except for the pretty skills, every other class can do its role better. want DPS? go play dragoon2, fencer3, or taoist priest (the best DPS classes in the game right now) want healing? cleric, which DOES NOT NEED TO SACRIFICE 60% OF ITS HP JUST TO HEAL OTHER PEOPLE, NOR RISK DIEING FROM RANGED ATTACKS. featherfoot cant even use its most important skills while flying!!!

IMC, please fix featherfoot. (as well as Sadhu) the class concept is really cool (like Sadhu) but it was executed very poorly.

i don’t even think more than 5 people play featherfoot in kTOS, i have not even seen a single video on c2 featherfoot since the update came out.

so everyone, show your support for this horrible class. maybe it will get a little stronger like necromancer and sadhu did.

YES PLEASE BUMP THIS THREAD I NEED MY FEATHERFOOT TO BE BUFFED. The fact that it can’t even use it’s skills in PvP SUCKS. I mean, don’t the players have blood? Why can’t we suck any blood out of them? The only thing that makes featherfoot useful in PvP is the previous 6 classes, which SUCKS!

… The problem is you chose this class with pvp in mind when this class is great for PVE.

Shouldn’t they make all classes balanced in PvP? This class is only great for soloing too, it has NO role in party play whatsoever unless you are a linker.

No that is not possible, in this game or any game.

Inb4 C2 abilities get an enhancement when Featherfoot C3 comes and it becomes the absolute killer out of anything that can bleed. As most Wizard C3 branches do.

A game should never be balanced with PvP in mind, unless it is a game that is 100% about PvP, ie: Smite or something to the likes.

Edit: There is NO WAY in possible hell you can balance out as many combinations of classes as this game has. Hell most companies have trouble Balancing 5 Classes that are all static.

You are absolutely right! Featherfoots have synergy with almost no class and still needs at least 3 ranks to be playable (wizard 2 and linker 1).

Aspects of the class:

Range of skills (general): Melee / Single Target (impossible to hit a moving target)
Hitbox: VERY TINY
Damage: nothing too high, despite the class have the red icon
HP Recovery: Poor / Meh
Decay debuff: Good at level 4 or 5, but easily annulled in pvp
Hexing debuff: OK / Prevents others to heal, but it is also easily canceled in pvp
SP consumption: OK / not too high
Blood magic:

The funny thing is that I always see other classes making stone golem bleed but apparently Featherfoot can only get blood from living things (except players, lol).

C2 Impressions:

Levitation: Risky / You can not be cured by tiles and receives more damage from archers (yeah, apparently it is possible), but avoids magic tiles and melee attacks (nice)

Blood Curse: Risky / 60% of your hp to give less damage than any other class that does not need to sacrifice HP

Kundela Slash: Why it has the same stab animation of ngadhundi? But it looks good / small cooldown, overheat, double damage with hexing

Please, at least remove the restrictions of skills in pvp and improve the hitbox.

90% of comments talking more about how wrong my comment is and 10% of comments talking about how the thread poster is right. PLEASE FOCUS ON THE MOVEMENT OF THE THREAD NOT OF MY MISTAKES PLEASE. Whether or not you think PvP should be balanced, featherfoot needs to be buffed.

With the New selfdestruct thing hitting arround 20k on PvP in a huge aoe (and 70-140k on pve, there are some vídeos arealdy), plus linked enemies, I wonder how strong it will be.

Only blood bath has restriction to deal damage. The other skills works to all racial types except for blood sucking’s heal but is already remedied by the new gloves that allows it to also drain hp from plants and mutants.

There is always a right time to properly use the skills. Why would you even need to cast blood curse when JP > HK > MM can kill most mobs instantly? Blood Curse I believe should be used in a different featherfoot skill rotation rather than using it every cool down or at times when you are not safe.

It is not the only good featherfoot build. There certainly are alternatives. Necro / Thauma / Sorc can be a substitute to linker ranks. Just because the featured FF video is Wiz 3 > Link 3 > FF 2 doesn’t mean it’s the only way.

Wrong. Blood Sucking does 25 hits (1 hit per 0.4s) at 10s channel time. Channel time increases by 0.5s per level. This means that the skill grows stronger as you rank it both in the number of hits and its damage. You can prevent most knock-back skills by using reflect shield. Note: Knock back and Knock down are different. The knock back from Poata’s howl skill in siaulai mission can be blocked by reflect shield.

My own thoughts: Featherfoot is definitely far from perfect. It needs some minor tweaks to make it more viable for every content. It is restrictive in a sense that the class desperately needs linker to function properly if you wanted to use its skills for AoE. Its skills should be enabled in PvP (Blood Bath, Blood Sucking effects). The class is overall good for general PvE play but severely lacking in terms of PvP. The complaints in this thread is simply wrong and stems from the lack of knowledge of the class itself.
