I was searching the forum and couldn’t find any response to my doubts.
My point is: Since corsair is a buff autoattack kind of playstyle, is there any synergy with fencer, since its damage is based on skills usage?
Subquestion, what are your thoughts on a mixed build such as
Swordsman > Highlander c3 > Corsair c2 > Fencer ??
The answer is: not really. Corsair is a support that offers attack buff, increased silver drop and bind to the party. Also it is just as reliant on skill spam as any DPS swordy right now (some exceptions). Fencer on the other hand has a good mix of offensive and tanking abilities, which means they don’t add to each other that much. Nothing stops you from taking one as a filler and focus on the other though.
depends… most people dont know, but there is a special fencer weapon thats double rapiers sop if youre thinking about dual wielding forget corsair, its better to get the double rapiers.
If you want to make a rapier/pistol mix go for it,but only when rank 9 is released corsair 3 gets a attribute that allows it to use pistols.

literaly a dual wield weapo, double rapiers are a thing in the game, thats why i always facepalm when people complain that they cant dual wield swords…

Really the thing here is the synergy between Highlander3 and Corsair2. Highlander3 and Fencer have great synergy with lunge. However, with Highlander you’re looking to mostly spam skyliner, but with Corsair you’re looking to auto attack with double weapon assault. Getting both seems kind of redundant, since you will only ever use one.
