According to this Iām making the worst decision lol.
Just being realistic here. The list of things they need to fix with swordsman is too much. They need to overhaul and redesign the following classes:
- Swordsman
- Peltasta
- Barbarian
- Rodelero
- Corsair
- Templar
- Shinobi (Mokuton and Mijin needs fixing)

No, no, I actually completely agree.
Just that we still have some powerhouses like Dragoon, Doppel. Everything else clearly needs fixing, itās ridiculous how much our class actually gets itās ass kicked by all these nerfs and redesigns.
Is Cata simply pure pvp? I would like to because of the QoL of higher movent Speedā¦ but I dont plan to pvp at all.
Cata can be a very good tank/lurer as well, rounds up mobs fast with swash buckling due to fast movement speed (c3) = efficient grinding.
Thereās a video that was floating around of a 1H spear Cata luring + tanking, didnāt save the link though, if someone wants to link it thatād be good

you will see by your own trials, i donāt want to comment so much on swordman for now (my experience from krToS). there are swordman hardcore fans around will pop out to bash me if i talk too bad about swordman 
my summary to you: if you are seeking strong DPS character (PVP and PVE), swordman does not suit you. swordman is just a mid-attack DPS type class comparing the other 3 types of classes.
so far i only found cataphract c3 rules PVP from swordman classes.
I wish the other 3 classes had something like this summary
many iCBT2 players will select swordman class to start while many krToS players (from swordman class) will 90% jump ships to archer / wizard
You about that video? If yes, there is Cata C2 max, cause it definately have a Pelt C2+ (look at how much mobs SB aggro), a Hopl minimum C1 and a Dragoon
Haha i Would select Archer if I could find a Build I like that wont get hurt by higher than normal ping . I alrdy have it in my head to select Sword/Pel/Hop 3/Dop/Dragoon.
So Fencer is only good for tanking?

If the possible Highlander CD changes on Skyliner are real there is no point in even calling it good anymore, that was the skill that made it a much better choice over the barbarian.
Cartar Stroke isnāt what it used to be and Moulinet falls off really hard later on against tanky mobs, while the Barbarian still has some useful buffs and skills with high base damage that are still useful.
Anyways, if anyone here is mainly going for PvP the Wizard forums arenāt this one.
