My current plan: Swordsman C3 Highlander C3

1.) Do swordsman ever get spirit? I seem to run out of SP… It also gives magic defense… Maybe just like 5 base points? or complete waste?

2.) I have been getting str/con/dex… Is this pretty standard?

  1. Complete waste.

  2. S3 is mostly for PvP, cause of Restrain skill. BUT, we’ll get a buff on Concentration very soon, maybe S3 will be worth for PvE, who knows.
    Stats i’ve seen around forums are:
    Full STR = aka "Kiritodon’tgiveafck"
    STR/ CON = PvE, decent build for dps and survivability.
    Full SPR = Retarded build
    Full CON = 40-45k hp, still decent dps. (Sh    t Physical formula lol)
    CON/DEX = PvP build, survivability+dodge/crits.
    Full DEX = PvE/PvP build aka “Crithards” still fail.

I bet everyone tried to follow a meta, being either STR or DEX but not both on the table.

@Notvau Full STR & Full DEX is not meta, STR - CON & Full CON is the swordman meta AFAIK

So far Swordies are known as Hahaman… cause they are currently laughable as DPS =_="

I recommend you to check the discussions around swordman section. Look at actual iTOS videos that some peep has been posting. Every stat has its pros and cons.

  2. Yes its standard. This is up to you what kind of build you want to make. Swordsman class is the worst class in term of dps and rarely people wants them in grind pt. But that wont be stopping some peeps from playing either way.

I doubt people being picky now with how the players are getting less and less by the minute

If you have the effort to ask a pt to invite you and get lucky, Make friends, find a guild. Screw some mob ass. You should be fine.

1)Spirit actually scales pretty badly with magic defense, it’s 0.2 per stat. If you are seeking regular SP pool and magic reduction then equipment + cloth attribute will help you in a better way.

2)If the ratio is 1:1:1, yes. If you are really new, know that for every rank, you get STR multiplier bonuses and the swordsman class gets 3 times more HP per CON invested than any other class.

I recommend searching a little or play with the Stat Simulator on tosbase.
