Swordsman -> Pelt -> Hop2 -> Cors 2 -> Doppel or Dragoon?

I’ve narrowed down the choices to either Doppel or Dragoon, skipping on Shinobi/Cors3/Hop3 on my final class.

What I think is that Doppel Deeds gives great aspd for DWA while it’s being used as filler, and cyclone is just a great all around dps and anti-cc skill. DPE and the other skills will probably just be filler.

Dragoon on the other hand will give about 3 more skills on rotation that are similar to Hoplites, but the synergy ends there as the 2hSpear option cannot be used. Another pro I suppose is the costume.

Dragoon seems to be the more mainstream and chosen build, but I was thinking of going Doppel to see how it would go.

While I’m here, could I also ask if it’s possible to leave Dust Devil at only level 1 for Corsair? Seems like it scales terribly.

Also would like to ask for statbuild suggestions. I’m contemplating 140 Dex, 30 con and everything else into Str. I would like to hybrid PVE as offtank, decent WB damage and decent PVP.

What’s the point of getting DWA if you’re going for a skill build?

Dunno how you guys like making 0 synergy builds lol.

Why not? Unless I am misunderstanding something you can utilise weapon swapping for when you move into your Dragoon rotation, then back into 1H Spear / 1H Dagger for DWA and Hexen. (DWA isn’t that great anyway in general in my opinion.)

Also if you go Doppel you will get some good utility for mobbing but not so much for bossing. (Corsair gains dmg from behind via passives, but DoV requires getting hit x5 times to get the 50% buff). It’s personal preference but I would build it into a DRG.

Dragoon imo. I’m going the exact circle/class choice you are.

However, everyone is doing the C2 Corsair -> Dragoon build.

Swordman is so weak right now that I don’t think there’s much point in getting super serious…

UNLESS you are purely playing swordman class for fun. Then you should feel free to try whatever build you want that seems fun.

Heck, go for C3 Corsair (FOR FUN, it will suck) if you want.
