Swordsman paths

Yo guys. So, i want a Swordsman with the highest DPS possible, and there are two paths that i’m considering after some research, i would like some input from experienced players. I’m thinking about 2 handed Swords ( Barbarian and stuff ) or Lances ( Hoplite and Cataphract ) somethink like this ;

Swordsman > Highlander ( or Swordsman C2? ) > Barbarian C3 > Doppel

Swordsman C2 > Hoplite > Cata C3

Which one has the highest damage?

And about stats, i’ve seen ingame a Barbarian saying that he put all his stats in DEX, and in lvl 60 he has 96 DEX, dodge very often and 1/3 crit attacks and still do good damage. Someone know if this is true and applicable?

I’m with the first build (lvl 70) and highlander (swordsman c2 is not an option) and full dex. i dodge a lot and crit a lot too, the dmg is fine and thats it =)

this build have ALOT of +dmg -defense skills, its like a super auto-atacker evader from hell, and i love it xD
also i’v leveled gung ho to almost 50 now, so it helps alot with dmg

Really? So it’s appicable … just for information, how much do you have in STR and DEX?

I wouldn’t recommend going full dex if you’re going Doppel. Deeds of valor requires you to be hit and you take more dmg each stack. If they’re missing you then you don’t get the benefits. I would go a str con build and you would still do pretty insane dmg with frenzy + deeds of valor stacks.

Well not exactly Doppel, but i wanted to know if this FULL DEX build thing could be useful to any SM in general, like, if the Crit Rate dealed enough damage from the lack of STR. So i can have a build like DEX > CON > STR and still have a good DPS?

i have like 101 or 102 dex right now (on 70), i think the damage is the same as a full str build, but with this one i have evasion. on higher levels, when you have more buff skils and better sword, going full dex will probably hit harder than full str (cus str ill give you like +300 atack, and crit can hit a lot more than that with high level gear/skills)

about Deeds of Valor, i believe that magic ill make it stack, cus magic never miss and you ill be hit the same with any of these builds. physical damage u ill dodge almost everything, but if the fight is hard u ill end up getting hit too

i believe that this full dex build will only shine on higher levels, low lvl is better going full str

Hm, I don’t know if I made a big mistake investing money on leather equips, since deeds of valor may not work with evasion, but well, let’s see…

LOL i reseted my stats and put everything in DEX and it’s REALLY much better … that’s strange. And OP. I like it.

I’m 2:1 Str/Dex with 180 Str and 95 Dex @ lvl 150. I want to see a video of a level 200+ swordsman with full dex and how good it is (with his gear of course). I still don’t buy the full dex build is better.

I’m going Doppel anyways.
