Swordsman c2 / Barb c3 looking for direction into R6

Hello,

I messed up early into the build, neglecting Pelt C1.
Right now I’m not certain on whether I should proceed with Fencer or Doppel.

I usually play solo, so I guess I’d like a build that deals good damage and can survive well by myself.
Also, if I do go into Doppel R6, would I be very gimped if I decide to take Dragoon R7? (as compared to those who took hoplite circles instead.)

maybe dopple would be better, you lose quite a bit not having guardian evasion attribute without peltasta for your fencer.
