Please help me build my alt camper, which pre ranks tends be the the fastest one to level.
p.s. this is my first swordsman character, i do have five hammer to help me level it till squire c3.

Important thing is to make pain barrier level 15 and buy attribute for pain barrier to add 5 more seconds. Thank me later since this will help you in late game to avoid constantly being knocked back.

Here’s an important question. Are you taking this to r8? You technically have 3 “dead ranks” since you are “giving up” 3 ranks that could have been any other class with better combat abilities. Anything squire3 offers is available without the actual squire “present”.
Base camp / food table - Usable by all your alts. You do not need to be the squire to use it. You can build the camp / table and change characters and the camp / table will still be there.
Any vendors - You can open up shop and change character and the shop will still be there.

If you don’t plan to bring it past r7 like me, any build is pretty much viable.
I met someone doing HL3. Most would go Pel3. I did the pre-R8 classic Pel1 Hop1 Cata1.
What matters is having ok gear e.g. Level-appropriate plate set and weapon/shield.

I went sw c1 > pelt c1 > barb c2 and AA’s all the way. I wanted more mobs on me e.g. pelt c2/3 but ohwells. im 114 atm and seeing through how fast low level is. idk if barb 2 brings anything to the DPS part for faster leveling.
