Swordmen stats allocation post "rebalance" (PVP)

Either high con or full con are viable. Then get all the damage in weapon, preferably trans 7 or higher.

Youll still be missing from time to time but most of time you can hit them. Block seems like the issue with high con or full con. If youre fighting with high block chars, probably 30-60% of the time youll get blocked.

Pros of high con in PVP:

Better survivability
2 HP pots scale with your total HP so you can regen quite alot. (i regen 6k per pot then 1k per tick)

For dragoon i think high STR is good, then use your range advantage (play like an archer). Since this build cant tank, however with reduced dethrone CD, you can pretty much spam dethrone 3-6 times per match.

Lancer/murmillo are good with high con.

For some reason, Corsair 3 pistol range is quite deadly. Probably the only swordie pvp that can benefit with high dex, assuming pistol scale with dex because i havent tried dex scaling with corsair yet (i tried it with full con). Corsair 3 then Shinobi. Invi-pistol shot.

Evasion and block are the same calculation with crit rate i think. It will only be good at 1.4k+. 1k evasion seems very hard to achieve. Block can go as high as 1.5k so blocking is still prominent, until you saw a SR 3 full dex with 1.3k block pen.

So I shouldn’t be putting STR to counter 200 DEX builds (hotspot for attack speed)? Like 200 STR sum, rest CON). For Murmillos, in that case.

100 STR should be enough. 200 is huge youll sacrifice quite a lot of HP because of that. Even 100 i wont bother myself because so far full con seems enough to kill and hit them quite often. I tested this with my friend and TBL. Never had problem so far when it comes to accuracy. I miss sometimes but again it is no longer the evasion from before that 500 difference with accuracy will miss quite alot.

Evasion build will only be fruitful at 1.4k+. If 1k is very hard to get then for me there is no reason to stack accuracy. Maybe in rank 9 evasion will flourish again because of new equips and new skills or maybe another stat revamp. You can test full con first, then reset with 100 str and see the difference, your practical experience in TBL should be considered more because we have different equips and maybe there is someone there in your server with 1.4k evasion.

While you can get block pen from gear your options are very limited.

All you can get is a Weapon, Glass Bracelets, and Gloves with block pen.

Maybe block pen shouldn’t be that great to stack. Idk, I need to test. Thanks for the info tho.

For those meddling with Rodelero/Murmillo for PvP, should I max Targe Smash (raw damage) or Shield Push (-15% defense debuff)? I know the thread isn’t about skills themselves, but since a lot of you may know, lemme ask this here please. :stuck_out_tongue:

If you are going rodelero 1 for pvp I have been fine with maxing shield charge, montano, and targe smash for pvp.

As it stands you don’t need many active skills to kill, as long as you have corsair in your build for hook.

-15% defense doesnt matter much in pvp right now since everything is a 1-shot fest.

I’m running Sw1Pelt2Rod3Cor1Murm (missing Murm still, however).

I guess I’ll just dump points into Target Smash then. Thank you!
